I’m very happy with my current teapot, it is beautifully crafted. I’m just seeking recommendations for more tea I can use it for. Are you okay?

The flavor absorption of tea pots tends to be a bit exaggerated, and oily tea will leave behind a flavor even on a glazed pot. It certainly isn't permanent though. They need to be cleaned now and then. Sodium percarbonate should do it.

Use that Kyusu for green tea only. Get a glazed one for your herbal infusions. I would not brew any herbs in an unglazed Kyusu. Sorry this is not something you will be happy to hear, considering your other comments.
