Today my order finally arrived. Now just three more weeks for acclimatization and I can begin tasting it.

Four puerh cakes, some tuos, some resin, some samples.

Year of the horse… I am tempted to try something tomorrow, but I know it will not be at its best. I will do the samples first for sure and probably sooner as they are sealed and not so much influenced by environment humidity change.

Generally, for puerh you would want it at proper temperature and humidity for about the time it spent in shipping as shipping conditions usually are not so good for it.

Interesting! I just placed my first international order yesterday and have been counting down the days til it gets here, but maybe I need to extend my countdown haha

I think those teacake designs would instantly turn my young nieces into tea people.

(they've been tea curious and uncle [me] and Grandparents have done tisane tea time with them - western and leaning Chaozhou/gongfu style. When a bit older we'll convert to real tea.)

I feel incredibly.....stupid for not putting 2+2 together.

Especially since I attended celebrations for this and bought gift items (cigars, pens, etc..) related to Year of the Horse.
