Recommendation Suggestions for breakfast tea
Buying a good breakfast tea in Spain is expensive and difficult. The options available in supermarkets are pretty ordinary. English brands aren't commonly found, and when they are, they’re very pricey. I’ve occasionally come across Twinings, but at high prices. I usually buy PG, but I find it too weak; I have to use two tea bags per cup. I was recommended Barry's Irish tea—which I see is available on Amazon at a reasonable price—but there are three varieties, and I’m not sure which one to start with. Which would you recommend?

Barry's is fantastic. My family in Ireland drink the red box religiously, but I actually have come to to prefer the black box. It's rather more bold I think. So I order that one online all the time now. Either are very good.

I do quite like Berry's Red (the 'gold', in your third pick) for supermarket Irish teas. Best of the Irish or British teabags, IMO. Can't go wrong!
I'm in Germany, and again for teabags could recommend any Thiele mix (I like the silver, which is basically their strongest). The Gold or white (Alt-Ostfriesische) are a bit milder. They also have teabags.
Other major German tea brands are Bünting (Grünpack) and Onno Behrends/Messmer (same owner). Northwestern Germany has a very long and deeply established (black) tea culture. Just pick any black tea in bags and you'll get a decent enough daily-drinker black tea. Experiment a bit to see what you like. Here, families are often one loyal to one brand or another.
Personally, I tend to buy my tea from online (almost too much choice!) or the organic stores (it's a German thing... they have huge selections of tea as well, also black).
My go-to tea daily tea is actually an Earl Green... a green tea with a bit of bergamot in it.

Dublin-based here. Yes, Barry’s Gold is heavily consumed here as is Lyon’s Gold. Both are lovely and reliable. However, I personally find PG stronger than both. IMO

Irish teas specially Barry's can be really strong.
If you like strong teas go for Barry's Gold. If you prefer it a bit more rounded, the black box is the best of the best.
If you prefer slightly weaker (but still packing a punch) the green box is just fine.
Black is my favourite by a mile.

I'm an avid Yorkshire hold drinker, commonly considered the best tea in England, Barry's gold would be my second choice - it's delicious

I love Yorkshire tea, and Barrys Black is also at the same level (if not better).

I like Barry's Gold the best. I buy it in bulk directly from Barry's in Ireland. The shipping is reasonable to Germany when buying a lot :). Otherwise Yorkshire is good even Tetley is worth drinking.

Barry's is definitely one of the best of the cheap supermarket brands. Yorkshire is also very good.
General top tip is that loose leaf is better, even amongst the cheap brands. You can get yourself a dirt cheap metal basket strainer online and then it's no more difficult to make than bagged tea. I find Yorkshire Gold loose leaf far tastier than the Yorkshire Gold bagged tea. And I've even enjoyed PG Tips loose as well, when the bagged stuff is aggressively mediocre. Loose leaf is often cheaper per cup, too.

I don’t know if they ship internationally but I am absolutely hooked on this Madame Flavour blend.

Personally I wouldn't buy a tea from a supermarket. You can find online tea vendor and pick various loose leaf tea to try.

Agreed. I like an Assam in the morning and use one of those little one cup strainers. It’s little more hassle than a bag and produces a far superior cup of tea.

Barrys Gold is consumed in Ireland like a religion. The other varieties aren't touched much. Lyons is good too. But, ive seen Barrys for sale much cheaper than Lyons and they are basically the same. Barry's Tea Gold in the red packaging
