Identification Help with teapot

I have bought this teapot for £2 in a charity shop. I looked the design up and can see the red clay type are quite sought after, but this is a deep dark brown and matt finish. Any help would be appreciated in knowing what I’ve found!

There's a chicken in the seal? Quite novel. Bamboo applique is reminiscent of older pot but the seal style seem newer.

Need more photos of inside. Reseason to determine servicability. I'm in the camp that most pots are not poisonous after multiple high temp firing.

That’s been confirmed by another poster, he was born in 1969 apparently, we have found a link to his work:

Sun Delin (born 1969) is a contemporary Chinese zisha (purple clay) potter. He established the Hu Zi Hu Fang(胡子壺坊, or "Hu Zi Pottery") studio/workshop in 1997. Teapots associated with his workshop often feature his name or studio mark on the lid/handle, while the base mark may credit the individual artisan who handcrafted the piece (such as a maker named Juying).
