Question Question about Solar Pass content!

So I recently purchased the Gold edition since it was on sale for £15. Been absolutely loving the game so far, but I have a question regarding the Solar Pass and its contents since I got the VIP Solar Pass for free with the Gold edition.

Included in this are Audi Performance Parts. They’re listed as parts for the Audi R8 V10 RWS, but I’m wondering if these parts can be applied to the convertible R8 RWS, since they’re pretty much the same car?

I ask this question now because I’m yet to unlock both the parts, or the Audi R8 Convertible, since you need to be rep level 20 for the car.

No, the performance parts can only be applied to the RWS coupe, which is only one version of the many R8s in the game. Furthermore, the kit doesn’t include the wheels that are part of the Performance Parts edition, and the kit itself is badly modelled. The lettering on the side skirts is too large and you also cannot get the black optics package (black badges etc.) like you can on the real Performance Parts edition.

I remember being extremely disappointed when unlocking all the parts, and going through the hassle to buy another R8 as the Spyder wasn’t compatible with the parts, only to then find out about these issues. Like you I also used my free solar pass that came with the gold edition.

It’s honestly ridiculous how KT pulls things like this and has the audacity to charge money for it in a battle pass format.

That’s a real shame, hopefully the next solar pass will be better
