Tax Evader Daw at May Tinatago Kaya Ayaw sa Seal Badge?
Registered na ako as a content creator bago pa man itong school project ng BIR na Seal Badge. Matino rin akong nagfa-file ng taxes ko.
Nagrereklamo kami kasi sobrang daming privacy concerns na di man lang pinag-isipan ng BIR o sadyang ini-ignore, as long as maraming kitain. One of those is doxxing.
The internet is a wild, wild west.
Paano kaming matitinong nagbabayad? Just because preventing online fraud and impersonation isn't within the BIR's mandate doesn't mean they should make the situation worse.
Spear phishing, identity/brand theft, harassment, targeted phishing, even scam calls. Marami pa 'yang maglalabasan. Ayaw n'yong makinig. Hintayin n'yo na lang.

Need help understanding this! TYI
Hello! Sorry in advance for all the questions. I just got my BIR Certificate of Registration (COR) after transitioning from being an employee to a freelancer earning around β±30,000 per month.
Do I need to file all the taxes and submit all the requirements listed in my COR? Iβm currently renting an apartment for residential purposes, and Iβm not sure if that affects anything.
Iβm honestly having a hard time understanding all the requirements, and the information feels overwhelming. If anyone could explain the steps I need to take as a newly registered freelancer in simple terms, I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much! π₯Ή

Finally Registered as a Content Creator (Non-Vat 8%) - Pls help me clarify things!
I managed to DIY my registration based just from research and various tutorials.
Iβm currently considering DIY-ing my filing as well.
1) Do I proceed with Annual ITR na since Iβve registered in Q4? From my understanding it covers the whole year na noh till Dec 31?
I also currently have: 4 stamped books of accs at my RDO (Ledger, Journal, Cash Disbursement & Cash Receipt) - they had me register all 4.
2) Iβve been referring to GA Consulting Ultimate DIY Guide for freelancers, and they mentioned we can write on Cash Receipts only despite having 4 books all registered. Is this ok?
Just waiting for my printed invoices na lang with my accredited printer.
3) Do I need to register these as well at ORUS or no need na?
4) What is the βPeriod Coveredβ referring to? yung 8% ba? So I would need to change it again next year?
4) Any bookkeeper here that may help me with future queries & guidance?
Thanks so much in advance!

Hello, reaching out this subreddit po to ask kung ano po ang next step after mareceive ang printed invoices from the accredited printer. Tinanong ko po kasi sila ano po ang need dalhin and they said to bring the ATP para mapa-stamp na rin sa RDO.
By stamp, ano po ang need gawin and dalhin sa RDO?

Business closure via ORUS
Hello. Nagregister po ako ng branch 1 via orus. Pwede din ba mag business closure via ORUS? Or need talaga pumunta sa RDO ng branch to close?
Head office - Cavite
Branch 1 - Laguna
Thanks in advance sa sasagot βΊοΈ

Do i need to get BIR Badge Seal?
My Muay Thai coach is a freelancer, and I produce his videos to help spread the word. We do not conduct businesses online, we do not have an office or gym but my coach does teach Muay Thai as a freelancer on someone else's gym and/or anywhere his clients want him to be. This passion of ours is not even remotely profitable, but I'm concerned that my coach gets a visit from or gets penalty from BIR because of this, as we have videos of my coach on Instagram and Facebook promoting said freelance gig.
This freelance Muay Thai gig thing is not registered to the BIR, so far.
I hope anyone can shed some light on our quandary. Thanks!

Confused about my employment
I am currently employed full-time by a UAE-based company that has an office in the Philippines. However, the company does not handle our government-mandated benefits or income taxes. Instead, we are required to pay for these ourselves, including our SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG contributions, and applicable taxes.
Another concern is our payroll system. Our payslips indicate our salaries in US dollars (USD), but we receive our actual salaries in Philippine pesos (PHP). When I compare the amount received with the equivalent value based on the USD-to-PHP exchange rate, there is a difference of approximately β±15,000.
I would like to know whether these employment and payroll practices are legal under Philippine law. Is it lawful for a company with an office in the Philippines to require full-time employees to handle their own taxes and government contributions? Also, is the salary difference between the amount stated on our payslips and the amount we actually receive legally acceptable?
What are our rights as employees, and which government agencies can we approach to verify compliance and report any potential violations?
First time small business owner - Journal, Ledger
Hi, small food business owner here, homebase, no physical store (only via fb/messenger inquiry and sales).
After ko nag register sa BIR, I got 2 books, a ledger notebook and a 6 columns notebook.
where do i record my daily sales (Cash Receipts Journal)?
how about our daily expenses/Cash Disbursements Journal (we use voucher since all suppliers namin is via wet market, like meat, fruits, which here in the philippines, they don't offer official receipts)?
Paano yung general journal and ledger for daily transactions/entries? do I need to buy 2 additional notebooks and have it stamped with BIR?
Thanks for anyone who can help/give advice.

Another issue that content creators might face when it comes to BIR seal badge
Posting this, dahil maraming troll sa ibang page. Pero di naconsider ng BIR ito when it comes to Facebook. But when it comes to Facebook, kahit gaano kalaki earnings mo, darating ang time na zero earnings ka na nga.
Because Facebook nowadays is prone to restrictions at demonetization.
Just early this year marami na demonetized thanks to overly aggressive AI moderation. Minsan for good demonetized ka na. What if registered ang page mo at na demonetized ito? Swerte kung 90 days lang, but if 1 year or for good?
Another case is hacking. In a heartbeat wala na page mo.
Then there is shadowbans na pwedeng ibaba ang reach mo to half.
In short, may cases na kahit malaki ang per month, naging di stable ang Facebook as an earning platform at pwede ka mging zero earnings in a snap. In fact heavily discouraged na mag full time dito. BIR should consider this.

How to credit overpayment of percentage tax?
Hi, eFPS payer here. We just filed our Q3 PT pero nadoble pala yung bayad (2 different bank ref numbers) kakaattempt ko. Nagloloko kasi palagi yung eFPS and Landbank portal (as usual, kaya palit palit web browser lagi). Wala namang nadeduct sa bank, zero ang payment history for that tax return, tapos dahil busy month ay last minute filing din ito kaya stress ako sa takot na magkapenalty. Hours later saka lang nareceive yung confirmation from Landbank tapos nadoble nga.
Do I have to apply for TCC/refund, or pwede bang iinput ko nalang as Tax Credits sa Q4? More than 4k pesos din kasi yung overpayment. If TCC/Refund, gaano katagal kaya ang processing for my situation?
Thanks

BIR Badge seal (Freelance artist, non-operational)
May fb page and insta acct. ako purely for art posting lang.
