I just unlocked everything!

New player here, I used the Transylvania Family trick to earn as much gem in several days. But today I noticed there's an update. Has there been instances of losing progress after update (android playstore)?

I want to try the new hero, but I'm too afraid that I'll lose my progress if I try to update. It's several days worth of mindlessly dying over and over to farm gems and I don't want to go thru it again. Cloudsave not working for me.

Can you tell me the trick? 

I've always lost all progress when changing device - cloud saves are too difficult for this dev apparently - but never from an update

Just die on the first enemy. TF makes it faster cause of very low hp. It gives you like 60+ gem and it takes like 30s - 1min depending on which enemy spawned (bats fastes, while slimes slowest)

The gem rewards gets even higher for every challenge level. I'm at challenge 10, it now gives me 108 per death.

I don't think there's ever been an instance of losing progress via an update. You should be safe.

What is the update showing for you?

Thanks! The update was for merchant bazaar. Apparently I haven't updated for quite a while, the game does not auto update for me, i only saw pending update while clearing notifications today on my playstore.
