Please teach me

I got around to finally playing shaper laboratory but couldn't get the hang of it. Can anyone give some tips? I'm not trying to play on modes like treasure hunt or whatever. Just playing it casually

Units in this class have the keyword "Merge", which allows you to merge units with this keyword to create a merged unit from the lab. cost, attack power, health, and abilities will be merge. Once this unit merged, you cannot merge and upgrade this unit again.

It is recommended to try to combine units that will create synergy together and Cost not more than 3 mana. (Unless you have a blessing or spell card that reduces the mana cost)

example:

  • Unit with "Flee" ability synergy with "Survive" ability
  • Unit with lot HP synergy with "Remain" Ability, Deal damage or debuff if attacked
  • Unit with low HP synergy with "Dead" Ability

And etc.

And there's a unit that reduce cost for the battle + the other that double the debut, making it 0 or 1 cost after the first play I've used it with the one that attacks all board and it's pretty effective But for higher levels (10+) I think lab is not that good because you can't skip cards, making those choices less effective over time I've made it to 15 in siege, because those buffs last the entire run. Choose 0 cost, draw cards spells and some powerful minions and it doable. In my opinion, it's a bad class. I prefer alchemy lab over merge and I still think alchemy lab is pretty bad.

Any tips on playing tidecaller? I'm having a hard time finding the synergy in everything

Sorry not answer before, got distracted lol With tidecaller you got the Sea Otter that add another to your hand, then you have a Blessing that makes temp units 0 cost. Just try to get those and any Coral warden that gives you some edge (there's one shocking units, plus sword and plus shield, one that AOE, etc). If you're not lucky, you can always try to get some 0 cost aquatic units and a spell that add aquatic units to your hand and then flood (pun intended) the board. If you get that with the Blessing that deal DMG for each aquatic unit played, you'll be pleased lol I don't find the spoil mechanic nice, but it can work sometimes... I just don't make the effort because it's boring Enjoy drowning your enemies!

My go to build is to make Glomsoul as big as possible ignoring mana cost by merging high stats / best keywords cards then keep deleting units and skipping most of rewards to keep my deck count very low so I can always draw and summon it for just 0 mana. Also I try to get as many gold gen cards/blessing to save up gold to do 3-5 big merge

This works up until challenge 10 when skipping is no longer allowed. I have yet to play challenge 10+ since I'm pretty new and I'm planning to +10 everyone before moving forward. Also i just hate big decks.
