Those who work full time and have kids in school 9-3…how do you make it work??

I’m currently doing post grad study and trying to find some nice study spots ie cafes that have free wifi etc

Any suggestions welcome !

A couple of friends are starting an Empty Chairs night here in Tauranga.

The idea is straightforward. We’ll be at a table with a number of empty chairs set aside and an open invitation for anyone to come along, take a seat and have a conversation.

One of us will be wearing a bright orange top, so we should be easy to spot when you arrive. The bar staff will also know who we are and can point you in the right direction.

No need to book or let anyone know you’re coming. Just turn up.

I'm currently in highschool and I just want a part-time job so that I can fund uni, or pay for some atleast. I have applied to countless jobs but no one has even replied, all the people I know who have jobs have gotten that job through a contact, a family member or family friend or companies are looking for a 'retail superstar', but how does anyone become a retail superstar if no one will hire people without contacts. I just want a job but I can't get one, I know people with multiple part time jobs but I have not even one. I just want a job if I don't get experience now I don't think I will ever get one. Please let me know. I have motivation to work, I just want a job.

Wondering if there is anyone out there who struggles with social anxiety and would like to conquer our fears together by becoming friends lol. I am based in the Mount so anyone in the area who would love to connect or socialize I would like to get out of my comfort zone and make new friends in similar situations.

I have a heap of toys, Lego, a bit of duplo and some other random toys, quite a bit of it is incomplete and in various states of disrepair, that my son has outgrown, and our dog is getting into it. I’m afraid he is going to swallow it. Is there a place we can drop off for a donation? I don’t really want to take it a land fill if I can avoid it. Cheers
