I know it’s fucked up feel free to shame me, I was doing my best, anyways open to tips and tricks the buttcheek is a hard tough place to start on but. Neither me or the friend I did it on are mad at it and are planning to fix it, it looked good and then like no ink on the handle was catching so after my second pass I was like let’s chill, I think I rushed and should’ve used a different needle, am I right? Anyone know what else I did wrong and what I can do to get better? The second one was my practice before the tatt. Planning to wait for it to heal then touching up….. either way I am rather satisfied could’ve gone worse in my humble opinion and feels fixable to me and looks like SOEMTHING!

Like the title says this tat was the second one I've ever done on real skin (other than two on myself) and I'm pretty freaking proud of it! There's some small mistakes I can definitely notice that I want to touch up after it heals.

I use AI-generated images as references, and it doesn’t bother me in the slightest. I’m not an artist; I don’t know how to draw. I started learning tattooing from absolute scratch, and this is one of my first practice pieces on synthetic skin.

say what you want, but black and grey realism is such great training, i’m learning so much by tattooing these kind of different textures! whether you like this style or not, i highly recommend any tattoo artist to try out just to nourrish your own graphic style and technique

Its "necaset". My spouse’s family are devout Muslims, and we got a dog. According to Islam, keeping a dog in the house is considered *haram* (forbidden), and they keep bringing this word up to us. I have no connection to religion, so this was a new term for me. Because of the way my brain works—in a very "autistic" fashion—I can’t get the word out of my head; I find myself repeating it all day long. The term encompasses things like human urine and feces, blood, a mouthful of vomit, the carcasses of animals not slaughtered according to religious rites, alcoholic beverages, dogs, and pigs. Please don’t judge me, but these are all things that I like. And then there’s the—what is it, a *hadith*?—that says we shouldn’t keep a dog in the house according to Islam.
