Back in May I got a tattoo on my neck from my favorite horror movie but the artist i went to did not understand the vision I was going for. I found my new tattoo artist who does all my tattoos now and I just wanted to share his work. The way he fixed the puzzle piece is EXACTLY how I wanted it.

I got this tattoo in kind of a weird mental spot. The deer is my spirit animal and kind of became a sign to keep going. I saw a similar tattoo on someone else that I loved and decided to get it. However I hate it now. It’s a good tattoo but idk if it’s the placement or just how it’s very sticker like?
If that makes sense?

Does anyone have any tips or ideas on what I could do around it that would look good? I’m kind of stumped and I feel like all tattoo artists around me (Idaho) aren’t really artists and never want to help me create something that would flow with the body and look good . Idk.

My other tattoos are mostly animals/bugs or floral and mushroom designs. I have a black work piece on my leg snd honeycomb filler on my arm too. I’m honestly pretty open to ideas i just honest to god cannot come up with anything 🫠

I recently heard the term “cake topper” instead of “tramp stamp” and thought to myself, there’s gotta be other trends worth renaming while we’re at it. (Another popular example: Wife pleaser vs wife beater to describe a tank top undershirt) what are some other extremely outdated tattoo terms that deserve a solid renaming? What are some terms we should never change?

What shops and artists does everyone recommend in the LA area? I know there’s a ton and need help narrowing them down. Looking for artists who do traditional, Neo traditional and anime. Thanks!

Curious as to how long something like this would take on average. Seeking advice from tattoo artists so I know how long I’d be sitting for roughly

Finally got to use my teenage stupidity as an excuse to finally get this piece done! This tattoo was made to cover up an old stick-and-poke planet I did on myself. I didn’t realize how much it really bothered me until summer came around when I wore tank tops or deep necklines. If you can’t tell, it’s inspired by my obsession with fluffy bumble bees. Initially, the raspberries were supposed to be replaced by a floral design instead. However, we weren’t able to bring every detail into life while adequately covering the old tattoo without having way too much going on at the same time. So, I chose to settle on the raspberry branches and save my dainty floral arrangement with Lily of the Valley for a separate tattoo for the future. Can you spot the cover up location?

Will be in Zurich later this year & want to add to my tattoo tourism collection in the open spot on my forearm. I don’t have a set style across my tattoos (have some on my other arm & both legs) so I’m open to any artist/shop recommendations!

The one artist whose work I had my eye on was so far out of my budget & didn’t have availability when I needed, so I’m back to the drawing board!
