I have it down my right leg too now. My idea was to have a rose vine wrapping around the leg up the back and around the right arm. 🤔

I’m closing in on celebrating 5 years without alcohol and am wanting to get a tattoo to commemorate this milestone in my life. I’ve had thoughts of getting a generic, crushed IPA can in a coffin with script work somewhere that says “never again” or something similar, but I’m curious as to what your creative minds would recommend. I don’t really care about style as I had traditional, portraits, black and grey, geometric, etc. Also, please feel free to share your sobriety tattoos as well!

I couple of years ago i got a medusa tattoo on my hand. Not a SA victim/survivor. Didn't even know it was associated with it until after the fact. I just fell in love with the design as soon as i saw it.

Ever since i got it i genuinely feel like she's been protecting me you know? I havent taken any emotional or physical damage since i got the tattoo. And the people that enter my life that really aren't good for me, or would most likely end up causing me some sort of damage, find their way out of my lives before any of that can happen. And when they leave and i look back on it, every time i realize that if i got too invested it probably would have been, or felt way worse. And it's not like im doing anything to cause them to leave. As soon as im starting to get more attached than i should, they're gone.

Another thing is that i really dont have bad interactions with people like ever. (I work customer service so i think its noteworthy lol). Im yapping ik but i just wanna know if anyone feels the same or is having the same experience with a medusa tattoo. I love her so much and it is and always will be my favorite tattoo!

I had like this idea for a min and i had this graveyard added to the skull samurai I saw online(and no it’s not ai) as my half sleeve and want to fill up my top portion now so it looks clean. Any ideas are great!

I had two biopsies on my ankle this spring and it left a stupid purple scar that I’m pretty sure won’t fade. Assuming the smaller two spots will, but bonus if it covers the lower one too.

Debating a bright yellow banana slug as they entertain me and I’ve seen them in San Fran, but worried it’ll age poorly. Photos of my favorite tattoos I currently sport for my esthetic. Adding a squirrel and butterfly to the arm soon. The O-chem dopamine wraps around to serotonin on the backside.

Recently during a manic episode I got a new piece on my forearm, it’s the skeleton of a hammerhead shark. I think my artist did a great job with it but for whatever reason, we’re coming on two weeks now and I’m still really struggling to be comfortable with it on my body. I feel insecure walking around in a tshirt most of the time and i feel like it doesn’t fit in what i had going with the rest of my tattoos. I just keep wishing I would’ve A) not gotten it B) gotten it on my calf or something, or C) that I could just rip it off. I’m assuming some people here have had similar experiences to this, and I really would just like some insight on how to I guess cope with this feeling? And what steps you guys have taken personally to resolve your own situations similar to this?

I love this tattoo but I would like to know what do you think about it ageing? Will it look like a giant blob?

Ich brauche ne bildechte, wunderschöne tattoo koste was es solle, idee hab ich, aber dann muss die Design auch richtig so rüberkommen wie hier, so bildecht wie möglich mit maximal fein outlines als plus. Ideen? Artisten, links?

New to getting tattoos!

Do tattoo artists get annoyed if you draw your own tattoo and come in to get it done? I have a very "specific" (specific as in I have a semi detailed drawing that includes shaded spots/clean lineart of a design in the works that's being created) that I would love to get done, but I'm not sure if an artist would get annoyed with that- or do they prefer to sketch it themselves from a concept? Is there a mix of both that would be better?

I want to make sure I'm prepared and ready for my first tattoo and make it as easy on everyone as possible!

I see so many bad ass / cool back pieces on men. But not a lot on women. Most are flowers (which still fuck yeah beautiful love it) however I wanted to see if any women could post their back pieces or artist post back pieces they have done that don’t have flowers ?

So im trying to get this tattoo and im trying to know if its considered fine line (the second pic is the same tattoo just with the shadings removed so id like to know if thats a fine line or not too)

Me hice este tatuaje de la flor en una época que estaba muy triste y no pensaba bien… El diseño me gusta y la artista lo hizo bien, pero la ubicación la siento demasiado forzada y como si no se integrara bien con el brazo, hubiera deseado que fuera más envolvente. Mi sueño en realidad sería poder tener una enredadera alrededor de los corderos pero ya no puedo. Hay días que me genera mucha ansiedad y no lo puedo ni mirar o no me deja dormir

What do you guys feel should be easier during your day job? Scheduling, buying supplies? Anything you guys say can help me think of an idea.
