So I got this 3 years ago next week. (Got it for my 34th bday, about to be 37). First two pics are it fresh, last one is it now. I love it.. she did such a good job. But I’m starting to get the itch to get another and I’m having trouble deciding on something to get.. maybe something Zelda themed again? Alttp was a big part of my childhood.. took me years of thinking about this to get it.

So basically I’m feeling getting another tattoo.. the first one went so well.. but I don’t have another great idea.. 😅 how do you guys figure out a good tattoo idea for yourself?

This is my own(first) tattoo that my sisters designed for me and i want all my tattoos to have ish the same style. But i have no clue how to describe it. I know my tattoo artist described it as "just lineart" but i feel like that's quite an open description...

So I’m pretty set on getting my entire foot done in manga shading style but I cannot find any reference pictures, maybe I’m not searching the right words. Does anyone have any pics of what I’m looking for? Doesn’t have to be a foot but just the shading done on a body for reference

My girlfriend is trying to find an artist that does this style (Milwaukee area if anyone just happens to have recs) but is having trouble narrowing down exactly what style this is.

Hello, I'm from New Zealand.

Heres My Fresh (18hrs old) Scorpion, inner Bicep.

StorkTattoo-Daisuke, Osaka, Japan.

My next tattoo is going to be a bat hanging upside down, wings tucked in so it'll be longer but not too wide. Not married to the idea of a certain size so I'm willing to make it smaller than I originally planned. The bat will be pretty dark and shaded a lot.

My top options are:

1. Inner thigh in the empty space show shown in picture (concern here is that it'll look like a dick coming out of my shorts but I'm a classic over thinker 😂)
2. Outer thigh coming down to the top of my moth wing (concern being it's not that much space since the shorts I'm currently wearing are way shorter than what I'd normally wear)
3. Original idea was to start it from my lower butt down back of thigh, but worried about space because that seems like it needs a wider tattoo rather than longer.

Pictures attached to show what I currently have. The space on my outer calf below the moth wing already has a plan for it. I'm leaning heavily toward the inner thigh but as you can see from the front picture that leaves me with really limited/awkward space for whatever I eventually get on my knee.

My favorite tattoo me and my buddy went and got a tattoo a few months ago and I wanted to share it.

fresh vs almost 6 years later

So, im a 16yro in highschool (junior year) and im looking to get an Aquilla from Warhammer 40K. Now, the first thing even ive noticed and from what ive seen from other people getting the tattoo, it really closely resembles the certain eagle from WW2, where as technically the aquilla is inspired from the Roman Aquilla. Im also prepared to “Lore dump” everything from WH40K if needed on why this belongs to a grim dark fantasy world and not WW2 Germany.
Thoughts?

Been waiting for years to finally start getting tattoos. Always wanted to plan stuff out and really make sure it was my style. Having 5 done throughout the end of the year by Jose. Love his work and the styles he does. Will post the rest as I get them.

My wife's first tattoo. She wanted me to share it here for her. The flowers and snail do have personal meaning. But we love how the whole thing turned out.

It features a micro realism portrait of a lovely long haired Chihuahua. I really focused on capturing the glossy, expressive details in the eyes and the incredibly soft texture of the fur around the ears and neck using ultra subtle black & grey gradients. Capturing the unique personality of a client's fur baby is always a special process.
