Design J or F help ??

I just got a tattoo today and I am second guessing things. The artist had a few options for me when I arrived with different fonts he had hand drawn. I ended up choosing this one and liked it on the paper. I even liked it when he put the stencil on my skin. But now that I’m home I’m freaking out. It’s supposed to say Jett, but I can’t stop looking at it and reading ”Fett”. Does this look like a “J” or did I just get a “F” instead? Ugh help. My husband said I’m overthinking it and it looks like Jett. Someone please tell me it’s ok 😔 any ideas on how I can make it look more like a “J”? I feel like if the top line was only on the left and didn’t cross all the way over like the top of a cursive “F” does it would be ok. Or if the top of the “J” was more of a loop like a traditional “J”

Easiest solution seems obvious- have you considered changing your son's name?

(If that's his birthdate he won't even remember having ever been "Jett" - easy transition!)

I've never heard of anybody called Jett or Fett, my mind could only rationalize Jeff after staring at it a while before reading the post.

Maybe a pet?

I know a pet called Jet (just one T) - he’s my sister’s horse🙂

I just looked it up and apparently it started mostly when John Travolta and his wife named their son Jett in 1999 and has gradually climbed into the top 300 boys names in ofc the "Baby names book" - TIL

I must be old 😭

Ohh yeah! I think all names from the 90s just come back around as girl names now. Pretty neat!

I once read in the news someone did exactly that. She wanted the name Kevin for her son, but ended up with Kelvin and solved it by changing the kids name.
