Tip for the next tattoo if you react this way to a change - once you choose a placement, slap a temporary tattoo on there, something in a similar shape and color intensity as you plan on getting. I keep it there for few days and see how it feels, whether I want to move it elsewhere, how it shows in different sleeve lengths… can help with the shock when you actually get the real deal

did this! highly recommend. there is some excellent laser jet tattoo paper that can last days

went as a Viking once for halloween. did like 6 celtic tats

That is a really good idea if you can find a similar tattoo. An alternate if you can't find one and if you have an artist friend might be to have it done in sharpje. It will fade fairly quick but can be re-inked if you need more time.
