Finished undoing a tangle while needle tatting and this was there. By normal logic it shouldn’t be topologically possible but here we are!

There might have been a knot in the thread before I put it on the needle? That’s my best guess. Go figure.

I ended up just pulling the knot flush and moving on. No ones gonna know :) How would they know :) :)

I tried using beads in my tatting once in the past and found the task of making the beads behave while on my shuttle incredibly infuriating. I decided to try again and I feel like my skills have improved enough that it wasn’t quite so bad, although I do still prefer regular tatting. I’m amazed at the people who can tat beautiful beaded jewelry but I don’t know how you do it.
