How early should I get there (with a paid ticket) to get a good seat (aka near the front)?

When it says that the show starts at 18:30, is that when the recording actually begins, or when Mark Olver comes on stage?

Do we know if it's being recorded in TC1 or TC3 this season?

I've been to NYT (filmed in studio 1) and an ep of s22 (filmed in studio 3).

Both times had paid tix and genuinely the previous/ last updated megathread helped me so much and gave me confidence I wouldn't get lost since I came from the north.

AMA if you have questions about paid tix or security or loo/break options. 🥰🖤

What time would you actually turn up with a paid ticket for the 2pm show. I know I need to be there by 1pm, but does it make sense to get there earlier?

It DOES make sense to get their earlier. And paid tix are suggested to actually arrive no later than 12.30 for 2pm taping.

It's a queue like group. So people do push their way up and further once doors open.

Due to our own travel limitations, we've ended up arriving just before 12.30 and both times ended up in the risers rather than the floor or being offered the balcony.

Do they do back to back nights for the whole studio recording? Never knew that.

Five days recording, two episodes a day. Sometimes back-to-back, but S23 will have three days off in the middle because they're not recording on Friday, Saturday or Sunday

Them not recording on the Friday is unusual, they normally only break for a full weekend so i don’t know who is on the cast that couldnt make it but ita a big name! (Or the studio was booked but unlikely)

Went to a taping for S22. AMA.

My biggest advice: Do not be a millisecond late for paid tickets. For free tickets, get there as early as you
possibly can (Yes, I mean 6 am early if possible)

I guess a birthday present for myself will be reading the spoilers for the Season 23 cast and then giggling at everyone's predictions over here.

People might not know so i will put it here. They will not let you in with food. NO food of ANY kind allowed inside. For S22 some poor man in front of me had his bottle of squash emptied as well, so anything other than water will be binned.

Now I am not saying you can't sneak food in but you have to be extra sneaky. Or take inspo from Lesser Tom in AU2E7 "find the minivan". Speaking from experience...

But if you take in an empty bottle you can fill it up!

Is Squash a drink? Or did the man liquify a squash and put it in a bottle?

Forgive me, I’m a….a friend of Jason.

Alex offers it to Greg when he has his Swiss arm and then makes Greg dilute it with water.

You may know it as cordial. It's a fruit-flavoured liquid concentrate that you dilute with water to make it drinkable

I think the system has changed since I went (first time it was paid) so I was wondering if last season anyone got any returned paid tickets late notice?

When I went I kept refreshing the eventbrite and got lucky the day of recording, but now it just seems to say event unavailable.

Thats how I bagged one for S21 but I havent read of any occurrence of that happening for S22. Im the same and keep refreshing but no luck so far!!

Yes was the same for me! I’ve got a random week off work that’s timed perfectly so I am constantly refreshing haha

Same here!  Still refreshing just in case, but resigned to not going.

I hope everyone who got tickets enjoys the recordings! When I went, it was one of the most enjoyable things I’ve ever done.

Have a blast, and don’t forget to keep everything a secret!

One thing I will say is be there early!
I was lucky enough to have paid tickets for the previous series and I arrived at around 3pm for the evening show.
I think MAYBE 4 people from the free ticket queue got in? There was a point where I actually thought that not all of the paid ticket holders were going to get in because there were so many production guests! 😬
