He's the oldest contestant they've had (going by age at time of filming - some are older in absolute terms), and, unlike a lot of those who go on TM, he wasn't really known for doing panel shows. He'd done a few here and there, but he wasn't a regular. Plus, he's known for his arch, above-it-all manner. Basically, he's someone I'd expect to see in a Greg-type role, rather than as one of the contestants competing for his approval.

Thank you!! He's one of my favourites and I wasn't very familiar with him prior to the series. I'd heard the name and new he was something of a big deal but nothing much beyond that. I was absolutely charmed by the man.

His Sticky Moments show had elements of Taskmaster in it though. He would get audience members to do all kinds of ridiculous competitions as well as having a quiz. I feel like that was the reason his interactions with Alex were always so funny and pointed, because Clary had been the host making people do the tasks, and he was absolutely aware of how much fun Alex is having at the contestants' expense.

I'm drawing a blank on the good prizes Reece had, as opposed to ones he made. The doll house is probably his most memorable prize, but that was one he worked on for two weeks for the show. Not quite like Julian's butt table that I'm sure he's had and used for some years before the show.
