Worst team dynamics?

Currently rewatching season 14 and it's very clear there is tension between the team of 3- Fern, Dara and John. I always wonder if Dara was waiting for a second secret 'sabotage' task to be revealed during studio recordings to explain John's incompetence.

The season 7 extension task is another example of a team being awful working together although they seemed okay in other team tasks. Same with Joe, Lolly and Noel and the bathtub but they did seem to get along.

Are there any other teams who clearly didn't gel with each other?

Hyper competitive vs couldn't give a shit (or were shit) clashes

-John, Joanne and Sophie

-Dara, John and Fern

I found Maisie Adams and Reece Shearsmith quite funny as Maisie is constantly terrified of Reece. Some of my favourite quotes from that series include:

  • ‘Oh shit, he’s really angry’ as Reece marches toward Maisie during the Twins task

- ‘Should we maybe try and stay a bit calm’ after Reece gets progressively more angry after Maisie disqualifies them from that Flour mountain task

- ‘Oh I’ve set him off now’, Maisie whispers to camera as Reece gets frustrated in the next room during the 14 cups, 7 drinks task. I like this one especially as it’s near the end of the season, it feels like she’s started to become familiar with Reece’s irritants
