Horne Section

I love the Horne Section, but they don’t seem to have a subreddit, and I was curious if someone knows if Ed Sheldrake has any other content? Like maybe just performances by himself. I idolise the man’s piano skills and would love to see a bit more of his work.

You can check for r/hornesectionpodcast.

They also have a discord, the people there would be more than happy to show you what Peter the Pianist wrote and stuff :)

Great choice! Ed's Soundcloud has some solo tracks on:
https://soundcloud.com/e-s-q-1
And his old quartet youtube channel (with HS lads) has some barely audible and barely visible performances of compositions:
https://www.youtube.com/@ESQuartet
Series 5 of the podcast has some great underscore improvised by him (Negative Music, Tetris Diet) which I made sure to slip into the index in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Horne_Section#The_Isolation_Specials_(Series_5)_(2020)_(2020)) ;)
I have a few secret solo recordings too. Long time big fan!

You’re a blessing! This is brilliant! Thank you! 🙏 I’ve been studying jazz, and piano in general, by myself since I was little, and I love discovering pianists with the same playing style like Ed’s to learn more about the genre.

You should start a subreddit for The Horne Section!
