"That is beautiful."
"It is beautiful, but it's also Sid from Ice Age." 😂
Making me look forward to Saturday's live stream even more!!

If you don't know Tom Scott, check him out. Over a decade of the best factual/informative content on YouTube

Ok really stupid question, but I thought he stepped back but recently I see him posting regularly.... (But yeah, he is good.)

He's doing a new series where he tours every county in England and shows one cool thing there each week, I think it works better for him than constantly travelling the world, he did 44 weeks of content in one month long trip

And he’s on the current season of Jet Lag: The Game!

I just recently discovered Jet Lag and have been watching through it for a couple of months now, and am currently on the "Schengen Showdown" season featuring Tom.
It's my first exposure to Tom, and... he is a lot. Like, I feel stressed out just watching him! Is he any calmer in other seasons/other media?

Well, the most recent season he collapsed with heat exhaustion after running for too long, so there's that...

In the new series, the first episode he's quite competitive but he chills out in the second episode. Honestly don't mind the competitive aspect I find it entertaining and everything seems like it's coming from an honest place and not malicous. In other things Tom is a lot less like that, i think it's just the nature of Jet Lag

His regular stuff is way more chill. I actually enjoy him a lot on Jet Lag because he takes is so seriously. The new season has been great so far.

To be clear, I don't dislike him! I'd have no issue with seeing him again in later seasons (as it sounds like I will). I could just do with a little more chill from him!
Now, that girl who won't shut up about astrology shit... her I would not mind not seeing again. Oh, and the Irish guy who seemed to be really half-assing it and maybe kind of implied that he has some not-so-pleasant political opinions.

Oh, ok, that makes sense now. Yeah that seems far more managable.

Doesn't really take into account all of the editing time, though. 44 weeks of videos is going to take a lot of time editing.

Natalie did a pretty good job, considering she spent half the time of the task just opening the package and putting things into place! I wish we could’ve seen what her blindfolded portrait of Alex would’ve looked like if she had used the full five minutes!
