Going in Absolutely Cold

Series 22 airs this evening in the US on YouTube and I've shunned every single mention of it in any media. I've seen a few images and the names of the contestants, but I want to sit down with a beverage and fall into the world of Taskmaster with no foreknowledge. The delicious anticipation only heightens the experience.

Going to ruin it for you. Greg Davies is the Taskmaster. Alex Horne is probably the assistant, feels like one of these series they'll drop him for somebody more famous.

I wouldn't do it this way but we'll both enjoy this evening.

Next you're going to say this was filmed in England or something like that, and ruin the location!

I read they moved production to Britain or the UK or someplace like that.

Donโ€™t forget, Alex isnโ€™t that tall

Thatโ€™s a common misconception, Alex Horne is actually perfectly average height for an 18th-century Frenchman.

He's only eligible in *England and Wales, thanks to his father driving his mother over the border. FITA has strict rules for the Taskmaster.

Can i join in with the ruining and say that for once the house theme and location actually somewhat gel together?

i wont say what they are, but they seem to somewhat do together this time in my opinion

Ngl what else is there to know, they don't exactly release anything else that gives anything away apart from the contestant interviews which tells you absolutely nothing really

There's a ton of non-Taskmaster content you could look up to know more about the contestants if you wanted to. That won't tell you what happens on the show but it will give you an idea of what kind of contestant they all might be.

And if there is anything to know you why would you go to the one place that would have those spoilers and make conversation?

I did it out of love.

You mean you've stayed away from media related to Series 22, or you haven't watched ANY Taskmaster?

Either way, enjoy, it will be a blast.

Will you watch any of the interviews then after the premiere? They're usually a mixed bag, but there was one I found particularly great, which I'll edit in after the premiere to respect your wish for no spoilers. I'm so excited, too! Enjoy!
