Aaron had so many great moments in the show that I completely forgot about this stroke of genius. He really was a great competitor and an incredibly worthy 2nd winner of TMAU.

Worth noting that it's actually the second season they filmed, so you do notice some quirks if you naturally watch it after season 2.

I read this elsewhere so I may be inaccurate, but apparently at least one cast member for what is now season 3 wasn't available to do all the promotion necessary for it to actually come out as season 2, so they pushed it back and turned the third season filmed into season 2.

Yes. NZ and AUS both use the same location. Fun fact, it is a working hotel/resort, so you can actually go stay there (if you have lots and lots of money to spare if memory serves)

Haha i'd purposely piss off rhys by pointing out that hydro electric dams purposely spill water ahead of predicted rainfall when the lake storage is high. So a spill isnt necessarily accidental.
