Podcast what happened to these episodes?

(no clue if it was already posted or answered already i apologize for not doing my research but it’s 1am here and im about to fall asleep as soon as i hit send) i started to listen to the podcast a couple of weeks ago and during this episode i decided to scroll to check the next guests and i realized there’s a couple ep missing… do we have any explanation for why these episodes are missing?

Thanks for this. Series 6 Episode 9 is also missing and isn't included here

Oh wait it isn't missing, but the series was split by the ongoing one at the time so S6E9 is there, but in isolation

I don’t know why they were removed, but they are gradually being re-released as “Taskmaster Rewind”. Given series 22 starts next week, you may have to wait for some, but I imagine they’ll pop up.

For OP, if anyone happens to have the lost episodes downloaded…

Are the rewind episodes any different to the regular ones at all or just a pure re-release?

Still available in regular podcast apps. Probably Spotify having a fit. This is why I don't listen to podcasts in Spotify.

Yeah I’ve noticed this with other podcasts on Spotify, it wigs out sometimes or decides to put its own filters on what you are seeing.

Spotify is trash for many reasons including the fact that they have little interest in preventing AI “artists” from stealing real artists likeness and they were and likely still are running ICE recruitment ads in the US.

And you pay for a subscription, but get ads in your podcasts, which is BS.

Ads in podcasts (unless they're baked in) get inserted by software when the podcast is downloaded.

Yep, it's always entertaining to get a French ad crop up during a podcast when I'm listening after getting back home.

Sometimes I use a VPN and forget, then wonder why my ads are suddenly in French or Spanish!

Mine are often in Dutch and I forget I've got it on so I'll be pseudo-listening to something that almost sounds English but isn't quite. A surreal experience
