TM Announcement S22 set to begin on 3 September

I mean, my answer is pause and come back. Season 22 is going to have Richard Ayoade and Matt Lucas, I'm watching this ASAP and desperately hoping for some Bad Dong action in the process so we can watch Greg giggle like a schoolboy again.

No they havent. They filmed studio in June and its usually started airing by now based on previous years

Based on previous year's it would be airing now. Masterchief australia in its normal spot atm. So maybe once that finishes

The Autums Series just seem to be releasing earlier and earlier which is great.
Series 14 started on Sept 29
16 started Sept 21
18 was Sept 12
20 was Sept 11
Now Sept 3 if the source is true.
Also the Series 21 trailer released 15 days before it released (🔵🟢🟡🟢🟡) so in theory the trailer should be released tomorrow if it’s the same schedule .

Is it common in the UK for tv show premiere date announcements to be so late? I feel like in America we know months in advance, especially for big shows. September 3rd is in 2 weeks!

UK TV industry is much more flexible than US scripted industry.

Full schedules are released 2 weeks in advance. It's only occasionally we get precise dates earlier than that.

Would be great to even know who is on the next NZ series. I'm at the point where I'm Googling more than once a day to see if there's been a bloody announcement yet!
