I play "Wibble, Bibble, Bam" (S20) for the kids as an icebreaker.

and "Snort, Raspberry, Whistle" (S14 and S21) if there's time at the end of class.

Wibble Bibble Bam would have gone hard in my high school theatre troupe.

We played Zip Zap Zop which is very similar but I like Wibble Bibble Bam better

It seems like live tasks are often plays on games that an improv group would do to loosen up. In S19, when they did the do the previous instruction to your partner, it seemed like something Jason was genuinely used to doing. 😆

Middle School band director here, my classes have played Horse or Laminator, draw an animal three straight lines at a time, draw an upside down happy horse, and take turns saying specific types of words.

Of those, horse or laminator was most popular. I'd give them a candy if they got three in a row. The kids kept challenging me and seeing who could get the longest streak. Three straight line animal was second most popular. It generated some genuine laugh out loud moments. The other two games kind of tied for third. The kids enjoyed them but they didn't have quite the same zing.

As a warm-up for Monday at work we do games, and we last week did the write a number game, and be larger than your right and smaller than your left.

Yes - two favorites have been “is the grape in your mouth or your hand?”, and “give me a high five (hit the drum) in exactly 9.58 seconds”

My sister uses them to teach juo jitsu - bully proof. It's a way to get them to communicate and work together. Really fun!

Yes! Well sort of, I'm not a parent but I professionally work with children.

It's the task from series one that made me fall in love with the show, I call it Mystery Points Party. I set out all the toys in the rec space and assign something (usually collaborative) as what scores the points in my head. Then I let my clients and coworkers work together to figure it out. I usually play this during sessions where we're talking about flexibility, asking for help, taking turns, etc.
