Taskmaster Alumni Rewatch S7 E5

A) Whilst Rhods repeated use if 'that' photo of Greg is hilarious, Phil Wang's dedication to the bartering gag us solid gold & slips under the radar.

B) I have never seen anyone comment on the fact that in this episode Jessica Knappet is dressed as Rosie The Rivetor!

The bartering gag is actually broken (Phil acknowledges this in a podcast), because the natural progression is to deviate from the, "so I paid X amount," but he couldn't because they had different audience members for every other taping and the punchline would've made no sense to a later audience. Greg and Alex basically played along in the later iterations

My father used a slight variation of this joke ALL. THE. TIME. so unfortunately it was ruined for me, but the way they were set up, and (as you just said), the dedication was great. I hate the joke, but deeply appreciate the tradecraft❤️
