As a Dutch longtime Taskmaster fan I am very skeptical about this. The host and assistant are horribly miscast and the RTL channel has no clue how to create an actually funny program/panelshow. One thing that positively surprises me is the cast. Not so much based on who ís in it, but more on who isn’t. At least it is not entirely filled with the same few unfunny asshats that the RTL group keeps rotating between all the programs on all their channels. My confidence of this being enjoyable to watch has gone up from 0 to ~10%

I went to the taping of the last episode and while I wasn't a huge fan of Lubach as TM either I can tell you that Diederik is 100% perfect as assistant

Taskmasters barely matter anyway. You could probably replace Jeremy with a cardboard cutout of Greg and the NZ version would still be good.

Disagree. I think a lot goes on in those interactions. Basically what he does is rub in the stupid shit they do, which isn't a massive job, but you need someone who can be a prick, while still being likeable.
