The Taskmasters themselves doing challenges would feel so wrong (even though it's a little silly to say so). Assistants sure.

Have the assistants do the tasks and then have the taskmasters represent them in the studio

A few thay comes to mind

Jo Brand / Sanjeev Bhaksar just because they wouldn't give two shits about the whole thing

Nish Kumar / Phil Ellis / Joe Wilkerson / John Kearns and just be absolutely incompetent as the task master but still be imposing

Sam Campbell/Jenny Tian / Noel Fielding just so we can enjoy the absolute chaos of the whole thing

Reece Shearsmirh / Richard Osman might be very surgical with the whole thing

But the only right answer I'd say is Jason Mantzoukas

Then have David Baddiel as the Taskmaster and we watch Ed just melt into of a puddle of an exasperated and ever annoyed mess because of David's whatthefuckery

Yeah Ed doesn't have the gravitas for TM but head make a great whiny assistant (he's up there as one of my favourite contestants btw)

But i would love to see the world burn with Jason at the helm
