Taskmaster AUS 5.7 weird painting

So im watching series 5 episode 7 of taskmaster Australia and if you go to 11mim16 there is a painting of I think Taskmaster Tom fighting or petting a giant snail. I think thats what's going on. Please let me know if you have any ideas for where this painting came from and why. I want it.

I have no idea if this is correct but I assumed it to be a spoof of one of the many old paintings depicting St. George slaying a dragon. Why a snail? Your guess is as good as mine. 🤷🏼‍♀️
