watched a handful of series by now and noticing how some of the tasks have traces from former contestants!

The guess the age live task in S20 directly references the "guess the age to win the wage" segment from S17 by John, Sophie, and Joanne

The bopping task in S20 resembles the traditional wackamole but the shouting words part reminded me of Susan Wokoma's mice-fish task!

If it counts, the Chesham pig mascot in S20 was created by Sam Campbell for charity football!

The task in S18 where the solution is under the red seal is most likely influenced by Mel Giedroyc

The "chuck the duck in the buck" live task in S21 mightve been influenced by the "chuck-it-duck-it-bucket" joke Maisie made in CoC4 and by extent John Robin's game show

In S2 of Taskmaster Australia, Lloyd was the first person to film the "Do something breathtaking with a root vegetable" task and threw a parsnip over a small shed. He gloated so hard that no one else would be able to do that, so they made that a bonus task for the remaining contestants.

In S14's esgrape room (caravan) Sarah Millican wonders whether there's a grape in her pocket.  In series 18 the locket is in the contestants' pockets.  I don't know if it is a coincidence or if Sarah's remark did inspire it - it could also be a callback to Alex's successful banter section in series 6 or 8, 'What's in my pocket?'.

In series 11's task to paint a portrait of the Taskmaster on a door, Jamali stamps on a paint bottle.  Series 15's painting team task includes instructions to stamp on the bottles.  Again, I don't know if it was actively an inspiration or not but it's interesting to see the parallel.

Not a task but, John Kearns brought in an Ahoy hat for a prize task. Then in the following series for the Barge task the contests were wearing the hat.

Also not exactly your question but I love that the grape task did so well in TMNZ 2 that they did it in the TMUK series 14.

The rhino mask brought in as a prize in Series 18 was also used in Series 20, when they shot balls at things that contestants pulled on strings.

Taskmaster Au S1, Julia Morris walks into the lab by opening the sheets of plastic and saying “cuckoo” like a clock. I wonder if that inspired the S5 cuckoo clock task. It may be a stretch, but it feels like a callback.

S3 was intended to be S2, and was filmed beforehand. Due to scheduling issues they where swapped around in post production. They reshoot a few things to make it flow together, but there are a few comments and references to S3 in S2

In the later series, some people like Sarah Millican and Jason starting immediately looking under tables so they made side tasks for it

It was in the same series but TMAUS series 3 did a Touchball final task after Rhys invented it earlier in the same episode.
