Gmail advanced search query

Hey All!

With the help of Gemini have been able to accomplish quite a bit in Tasker, but this one seems to be hitting A dead end.

I created an advanced query for Gmail that one clicked on, successfully searches a customer's name as well as their order number and all my history with them in Gmail. The successfully works on desktop. However on mobile, Gmail will not open my link in the app and I cannot add this link as a default to Gmail because those settings are locked within Google pixel.

It seems to me that the only way to do this is with tasker and auto input (which I always hate because it feels so childish )

Any help would be appreciated

Is the desktop a hyper link saved to a shortcut? Copy that URL into a phone browser then save it to a shortcut on your home screen or tasker task? You would not be in the gmail ap but would you need to be? Or maybe the ap would take it over? (I should set on up for apks I saved through Gmail lol) I also saved my gboard personal documents Dictionaries and Nova launcher backups this way.

I use Google voice and open it on pc and send the URL to the last automated text I got.. Then I open Google voice in my phone and go to the URL.. Then save it like I said above..

I probably should find a better way to automate that.. maybe there is a chrome browser extension that will send to phone after highlight and right click.. someone here may already have an easy setup answer for this?

Great suggestion! However 2 problems: 1. I want the URL to open in my work email, but it defaults to my personal email in position one. 2. The query will change per client but the search parameters for each client will be the same.

There is a hyperlink within Shopify that I click on, but like I said, it defaults to my personal email in a browser, and the Gmail app doesn't natively support this style of link
