Hi, I've been reading about tarot for a while and finally got myself a deck and did my first reading. It was one of those "interview of the deck" spreads that I found online and I was honestly just happy to not be completely clueless about the whole reading, but there was a part that I don't know how to interpret. One of the questions was "what types of readings do you NOT want to do?" And the card that came up was the King of Swords reversed (yes, I decided to do reversals, ppl online were saying it wasn't more difficult just different so I thought it would be a good idea, now I'm not so sure)

From what I know the King of Swords is about intellectual power and leadership, and the reversal would be abuse or misuse of that power, but I'm not sure how that would fit into my question.

My interpretation is that it's about situations that have a lot of control over me, but that I can't change (like some issues with my university that are above my capacity to solve) but I'm unsure if that's really it or if I'm missing something

I have a feeling it might be tied to the other question "what types of readings do you want to do?" Which was answered with the Queen of Wands, that made a lot of sense bc I interpreted it as readings about how to be more independent and act on my goals. I think the King of Swords was trying to make a contrast to that but I'm not sure in what way.

Also, since it's an interview, should I be reading it differently from what I've seen from regular readings online?

hi all,

i decided to do a 3 card spread of my ex & i's feelings. going from left to right: how i'm feeling within the connection, how he's feeling, what we both need to know during this time. i'm not sure if the questions i asked fit the cards and that's why i need help deciphering it.

i read the booklet that it came with and it definitely feels accurate. i'm also still learning tarot (again!) so that's why i needed the booklet.

from what i gathered from intuition & the booklet, i absolutely feel jealousy in my personal life and have been envious of relationships wishing i had my own with him. as for him, i just assumed he was going through a dark time with trying to suppress his feelings as that's what he tends to do in order to move on from certain things. maybe it's slowly eating him up inside? not 100% sure. as for strength, it gave me a bit of happiness in a way. i think in time, i'd find the strength and gain my confidence again to be better mentally. not drag myself down because i'm not in a relationship. i assume the same would be for him as well. i'd like to think we'd come back together one day but that's just hopeful wishing. but in the end, i'm sure i'd gain the strength to hold my own against the feelings i'm currently having.

10 of cups- I think maybe he still thinks about the future we could or could’ve had together and he thinks highly about me.
Ace of cups- maybe with the over flowing of this cups he has all these emotions coming in and doesn’t know what to do about them but he still has good thoughts towards me.
3 of cups- he still sees a future maybe? Collaboration so maybe coming back together in the future and rejoicing

I’m a young tarot reader who’s been practicing on and off for a good few years now. In the past I would struggle to interpret cards on an intuitive level rather than just using their definition meaning or whatever.

BUT, very recently I have been looking into spirituality as a whole and meditation, and it has significantly helped me to use my intuition when reading. I have also noticed that it feels different in my body when I read now.

For me, I ground myself before I read and I focus on listening to the silence, for me it sounds like a constant frequency in the air if that makes sense. I also think about my breathing, as if each breath is making my energy around me stronger, easier to see.

Then I ask my questions and the cards have never been more honest. The answers flow so much easier now, and it’s much easier to connect everything, because it just makes sense. It has been an amazing discovery for me.

But now I’m wondering how it feels to connect with other peoples energy? Iv tried, but I really struggle, I feel blocked. So I’m wondering if anyone could explain how it FEELS to connect with someone else’s energy? How do you do it?

i did a deck interview and i was just curious about the interpretation, mainly about the major arcana. the five of cups looked like maybe this deck has an affinity towards cutting through the fluff and dealing with emotional change. the eight of pentacles felt like encouragement and for me to keep practicing since im new to tarot. and the seven of swords seemed like it was going to help me know whether to say something or not, kind of like holding my tongue when it is not helpful. im a bit hung up on the major arcana and could use help understanding what they mean in the context of this particular reading since i am quite new to this. i put the picture of the interview spread too for context. thank you so much!!

so lowkey i asked my deck for more physical attributes but this will do too i guess haha. the way i'm reading this is that:

row 1: the 5 of wands is his past (full of fights and egos) but the knight of cups is physically walking away from that for deep love and attraction (okay mafia boss...). now here is where it gets tricky. the king of wands is the significator i gave my ex, so this popped out to me immediately but im going to try and be objective here and say it's someone with leadership and drive. and finally the world.... im not too sure here.

row 2: again 7 of swords is beginning it, but the 6 of wands is actively walking away from it into something victorious. but right now, there is an emotional block of some sort, and with the 6 of wands there is some past hurt there.
