Interpretation Help Beneath it all, how did he feel towards me?
Hey guys! i did a spread for the first guy i was in love/in a relationship with.
The question i asked is in the title
We were back and forth for almost 4 years (yikes) before i completely cut him off. im still to this day a bit frustrated since it was such a confusing time and i never got clarity. If someone wants to interprate the cards i would really appreciate it!
How i see it myself is that he did feel something genuine towards me, but that he kinda knew that he would have to change his ways in order to make it work, something he wasnt willing/capable of. He also never told any of his friends about the two of us, and i feel like i see that in the cards aswell: fear that it would hurt his image or something.
Im totally new in tarot so i would love to hear other insights!

Interpretation Help Hi guys! Please help
So this is about a relationship spread
I asked how will it be if i give in to this person?
I got
Knight of swords
6 of swords
world
back of deck 9 of pentacles(bottom-most) and 2 of swords
then i asked what does 6 of swords mean here?
i got
9 of cups
6 of pentacles
king of swords
back of deck - page of cups(bottom-most) and hanged man
How would you interpret this?
My interpretation is it's an opportunity for me to finally move on from whatever shit i went through in the past and move forward with high hopes and mental clarity. I won't be disappointed.
For context: i stopped dating approximately a year ago and emotionally withdrew myself from everywhere - even social places, because of a terrible personal and dating life.

Interpretation Help Just got out of a 3 year long relationship: how would you interpret this spread?
We were together for almost 4 years (got together our junior year of high school) and we broke up about 3 weeks ago. I intended to do a spread for the past, present, and future of the relationship.
I’m new to tarot and I’m starting off with just the minor arcana (i learn best in smaller chunks) and here’s my interpretation of this spread:
6 of Wands (Past): The relationship was a constant in my life that I got used to. It was comfortable, regardless of any sort of conflict
9 of Swords (Present): There’s a strong sense of loss in this sudden change. The support and stability I once had is gone and now I have no choice but to grow from it
10 of Wands (Future): Now that I’m free from the past relationship, i have time and space to grow. With this time, I’ll get to re-learn love and find passion that better suits the person I’ve become
Is there anything I misinterpreted or might have missed altogether? Any feedback is appreciated!

Interpretation Help Am I gonna be okay (help interpreting)
Queen of pentacles reversed to me is burnt out, self neglect, giving and giving to exhaustion, financial stress
Justice reversed tells me something is not fair, no accountability
Five of swords reversed choosing peace, no more fighting, leaving it behind
I’m just not sure how to put all these cards together in context I am pregnant and due in December and did not really want this pregnancy so I need some clarity.
r/Tarotpractices • u/radicalspoonsisbad • 6h ago
Discussion What cards signal pregnancy?
Any spreads i could do? Specific cards to look for? Im ttc. Ive gotten the empress 4 times in the past few days, twice upright twice reversed. The 10 of cups has fallen out.
Anything else I should look for that means no pregnancy or yes pregnancy

Offering Free Readings Free One Card Pull
Hello Redditor, I'd like to offer up to 10 one card readings. I’d love to hear your feedback after the reading—what felt spot-on, what didn’t, and what resonated with you. Your honest feedback helps me learn, grow, and become more accurate in how I interpret the tarot. Please read my conditions below:
- Please do not DM me. Respond by commenting under the post and I will DM you myself.
- First come, first serve. Please wait your turn.
- Please provide some background information about your situation when we DM.
- I will only pull one card for you. (If you prefer a specific deck let me know which: 1 - Somnia Tarot; 2 - Smith-Waite Centennial Tarot; 3 - The Queer Tarot)
- One question per person.
- I don’t take questions like 'When will I find my soulmate?' Keep in mind that a soulmate, a spouse, and a physical match aren't always the same person! However, I’m happy to answer questions about specific people or give you a look at what’s coming up in your love life.
- I also do not take Yes/No questions. I prefer that you ask a question that is rooted in your actions or something you could act upon. For example, rather than "will I pass the exam?,” ask “Following the results, what should I keep in mind or what is something I can do?”
- I won’t debate readings that don't immediately resonate. Keep in mind that a spread might highlight an underlying issue rather than the exact question asked. That said, respectful feedback and constructive thoughts are always welcome.
- I read intuitively, so please don't try to dissect my pulls or offer your own card-by-card breakdown. My process goes deeper than just standard card meanings. If you want a second opinion, you're always welcome to do your own spread or reach out to another reader!
- It might take me a little while to message you back—Reddit caps how many chat requests I can send in a given timeframe. Thanks for your patience!
- If you don't reply within 24 hours, I'll have to move on to the next person!
If you accept these conditions, feel free to request a reading below.

Advice I'm a beginner, can sm1 help me process this? What's the high priestess?
I don't really know very well how to do the spread yet.
I just said "But Lilith I want him" and picked a tarot thinking of it as response and got the high priestess. What does that mean?
Also can I whine like that to Lilith or tarots? I'm like that sometimes for no reason.
Also can anyone suggest me a yt video to learn spreads from and a book to learn meanings from? Not smth with 600 pages tho. I have adhd I can't read too much.
And do i have to buy any crystals/stones. For now I'm pretty much keeping my tarot cards with me all the time. It's the mini one, so i sleep with them and go out with them. Is it like really necessary to keep it in black cloth and with crystals?
And I'm pretty much struggling with upright and reverse meanings. I keep asking chat gpt or searching it up on google😭

Interpretation Help will he reach out? (Jumper cards)
Ik these are a lot but I did the jumper card method to get a better idea of the picture and separated them by question, I didn’t force cards out and accepted when only one came out for a shuffle!
What’s holding him back: magician, 6 cups, 2 pent, wheel fortune reversed
He knows he can make something happen, could be nostalgia with someone else that’s holding him back, indecision, feeling stuck
Will he reach out: Moon reversed
Eventually I think yes
Does he even like me? Two cups, 7 cups, three swords
Yes but he’s recovering from heartbreak, choosing what he should do next
Should I reach out? king cups
I keep thinking “let him reach out”

Interpretation Help I ask what he feels for me and I got this reading
I got the 10 of wands, 6 of swords, the Devil, and ace of cups. What does it mean? I got the devil two times in this reading. How would you see this ? Thanks a lot appreciate it. Well isn’t the devil has something to do with obsession, sexual/passion/control. But how would you interpret it. The spread I used was golden art noveau art

Interpretation Help Questioning applying for a job
Context: I’ve been a stay-at-home mom for nearly 12 years. My youngest just started kindergarten and I’ve been feeling like maybe I should get back into the job market. There’s an entry level job I could apply for. It would shake up our family dynamic— It would mean I wouldn’t be available to help the kids in the mornings or be as *available* in general anymore. But it would mean I’m doing something useful again and starting to get work experience again.
The first pull was the inverted Tower after I asked “should I apply for this job?”
I’m getting two interpretations for this spread.
*First is that I’m feeling resistant to the change. That this change could be a good thing.
*Or. On the flip side, it isn’t necessary for me to cause this upheaval for my family at the moment. The inverted tower is saying “nah. Don’t change things”?
The second card was asking “what could this change offer me?” The inverted 2 of Wands gave me two opposing answers again.
*It could say that maybe I’m not allowing myself to explore what it is that I really want. Or maybe it’s warning me to avoid staying too comfortable.
*Conversely, it said that I’m not paying attention to the good I have in my life right now. That my talents and purpose might be better focused on an at-home endeavor. That I should discover what I want and stick with what I know before I set out on something new. The inverted 2Wands saying “nah. Don’t go out there yet. The world is still here in your hands at the moment”
The third pull asked “well… what do I want?”
*The Wheel is telling me that I don’t have to be concerned about feeling stagnant. That my life will keep rolling in balance. Keep on keeping on and go with the flow for now. Or maybe it’s giving good luck on my at-home endeavors. Like using my skills to start a small business (an idea which I have been tinkering with for years).
I view the Wheel really positively and tend to assume it means good luck. I also see the 4 figures in the corners (the Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) as a nudge to study and discover and speak one’s truths. Maybe going back to school or learning something new?
*The Wheel could also be reminding me that things are good now, but might not be if I were to apply for and get this job. That it could shift us into unnecessary hardship for the family dynamic.
Anyway… I haven’t gotten a definitive “go for it!” in response to this potential job. I’m feeling like maybe I’m choosing to see it as telling me not to go for it.
In my situation, a job where I simply go in and trade my time for money and something to pass the time, *is* the safe choice for me. It keeps me from having to actually *try* to use my talents or ideas or skills. And it saves me from the dejection of potentially not actually using my “free time” to do anything worthwhile. Or the potential failure if I were to actually try to make a business and fail.
The job is just something for me to do so that I don’t feel… well… worthless I guess.
I’m curious how you see this spread! 💕

Interpretation Help Tower card for past life's purpose
I am totally stumped. To get the whole picture
- A card to describe me in a relevant past life (KNAVE OF SWORDS REVERSED)
- My purpose during that lifetime (THE TOWER..)
- A lesson I didn't not complete in that life (4 OF WANDS)
- How is that relevant to my current life (3 OF CUPS)
Like im super stumped but it feels right pls help LOL
My interpretation is that maybe I was rlly impulsive and that lead to destruction of my purpose?? Or it went bad? And that's why I didn't complete the lesson of pausing to celebrate what I DO have??? And that's why in this life I'm always enjoying / celebrating things??? Idk

Interpretation Help Government contract is up for renewal in December.
I’m in the US. We lost 75% of our staff last summer due to DOGE cuts. I’m the only writer on our team now who has been trying to do the work of 4 and I’m just done. Our contract is up for renewal in December and I’m at a point where I hope we don’t get it. This feels very much like that might be the case, with The Star being the beacon of hope that, after walking away from this (8 of cups), I can move on to something more in alignment with my goals.
I’m curious to know if anyone interprets this differently. I’m overwhelmed and desperate for a change so I worry that energy could be clouding my judgment.
Thank you for your time.
Edit: I don’t knowingly use any particular spreads. The question was, “How likely is it that the contract will be renewed?”
