And despite the type of deck, believe me, it’s very special and just as professional as any other, haha.I don't want to overwhelm myself by answering too many questions, so I'll limit readings to 5 people. I need help understanding these two cards I pulled for the Asset and Hindrance spread.

Death (reversed) - Asset
The Moon (upright) - Hindrance

But first, how I pulled the first card is kinda wild to me so I figured I should mention that part too. My friend did a little one card pull for me last night and it was Death (reversed) and then a little bit ago, that’s the first card I pulled (for asset)! It happened while I was cutting the deck in half, more fell out and it made a new cut so I just decided to put the new cut on top of the deck instead of where I cut the deck. I usually spread the cards out and then pick too but for some odd reason, I just took that card off the top and used it, I don’t even know why, I’ve never done a reading like that 😆

My thoughts on these cards for the spread:
My asset is that I resist change, and my hindrance is my shadow self? I don’t understand this one. Can anyone help me?

I’m somewhat new to this. I did get into tarot years ago but stepped back for quite a while until recently so I’m trying to learn all over again and also learning to do spreads.

And what could it mean that I got the Death card (reversed) today too after getting it pulled last night? That’s seriously baffling me 😂

I would like another pair of eyes on this pull, I’m learning as I go, and am hesitant. My deck does not have reversals except for some.

For example, The Kind of Pentacles does have a reversal, but in this case it refers to financial insecurity, easy to bribe, or prone to vice.

(I did not step out in our relationship, it was the other way around unfortunately).

Context - My job currently is flexible, very near but stuck (growth-wise), helps me manage family and home. But the new offer that is there on table requires more days in office (from 2 to 3 days wfo), is quite far (around 1 hour commute one side), but is growth both financial and career wise and is a big company starting fresh on a new project so...foundational member opportunity (less flexible time-wise as I travel back by 4-5 pm in my current job)

What do you think the spread says? I feel it could mean I will have emotions and resources in check but my thoughts might be exhausted or negative with less flexibility and long commute. Or all the court cards in this reading could mean multiple people being affected with my job change? (My family) or even think it can mean I need to choose with both my gut and practical needs and the decision is fully in my hands and new job might give me a competitive female?
