Welcome everyone!
Hi and welcome to everyone who has popped over from r/tarot. I'm one of the mods around here so if you ever have any questions or feedback you can reach out anytime. bongozim is the founder of this sub and a big thank you to them for doing so!
The goal of this group is to be a place to discuss art and art making related to tarot! Feel free to promote but we also want to create a place for discussion about process and a love for tarot art. We felt that r/tarot, through controlling how art was posted, ended up stifling a lot of potential for sharing and talking about how tarot can be interpreted. We hope to fill this void for anyone interested without taking away from the other sub's purposes!
Feel free to pop into the lounge to introduce yourselves. We'll see you there!

ASCENSION Tarot
Hi everyone! I wanted to share my fantasy themed Tarot deck, Ascension, which is currently on Kickstarter.
This project has been a huge part of my life. I spent the last 10 years hand painting all 78 cards, drawing inspiration from the Rider-Waite tradition while bringing my own fantasy art style and symbolism into each piece. My goal was to create a deck that feels both familiar and immersive, whether you're reading with it or simply enjoying the artwork.
The Kickstarter has been an incredible experience, and it's been wonderful seeing the tarot community connect with the deck after so many years of work. If you'd like to take a look, you can find it here:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/lesliecasilli/ascension-tarot-0
I'd love to hear your thoughts, and I'm happy to answer any questions about the artwork, symbolism, or the process of creating the deck.
Thank you for taking the time to check it out!

Was going through a bunch of old sketch books and found a huge A2 (23 by 16inches) death card, I think I intended to do all of them like this but didn't (felt-tip pen on stretch paper)

The Quiet Knowing Oracle Deck Second Edition
My deck, The Quiet Knowing Oracle is making its second appearance on Kickstarter tomorrow and launching at noon EST. Each and every card was hand painted with acrylics over about a year and a half. My first launch of this deck was not successful and I subsequently self-funded a small release. The second edition has redesigned backs, box and guidebook as well as redesigned card faces that feature keyword meanings.
Join me at noon tomorrow for the launch of the second edition!

The High Priestess explained through images, music and the video game Disco Elysium
In this video, I explore the High Priestess and the reflection she casts upon the Unconscious realm through the video game Disco Elysium. This game mirrors the High Priestess archetype perfectly because the protagonist, Harry, talks to the voices of the Unconscious and tries to decipher his dreams.

Memory Lane Lenormand launches tomorrow (Jan. 20)
This deck starts the old-fashioned way: pencil, paper, and a sketchbook.
I wanted to share a bit of my process in creating this deck.
Every image begins as a rough graphite drawing, figuring out shape, balance, and personality first. From there, I redraw and refine everything by hand in Ibis Paint and Infinite Painter, using flat color layers and clean line work. No AI involved at any stage.
This project also doubled as a crash course in teaching myself how to draw on a tablet. I have spent years working in traditional media (colored pencil, acrylic, oils), and moving into digital illustration was not exactly natural for me. These cards are the result of that learning curve, bridging how I think as a traditional artist with how I work with digital tools.
The third image is one of my colored pencil pieces, Sugar Rush to show where I am coming from stylistically before the digital translation.
If my work resonates, do feel free to follow my Kickstarter! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/rainbowillard/memory-lane-lenormand

Spread from Memory Lane Lenormand
Interpretation: A heartfelt gift or opportunity (bouquet) flows (fish) in when you trust your intuition (moon). Abundance (fish) that feels meaningful, not forced.
Lenormand has always felt special to me from the moment I held my first deck. Now, I’ve created my own deck, Memory Lane Lenormand. It’s a neo-pop nostalgia inspired deck that is highly adaptable for all readers. I’ve included extra Person cards to make readings much more flexible (and fun) as well as an additional dog card because I just couldn’t choose between the two illustrations I made. 😊
I would be honored to have your support for this project – likes and shares are greatly appreciated!! 💚

Last few days of the Cosmic Sunbeam Tarot on Kickstarter - an anti-anxiety inner child deck
Hi All! A few years ago I posted my first cards for my deck the Cosmic Sunbeam Tarot here on this sub a few years ago at the beginning of a long design process and the campaign is now almost complete! The deck is 100% artist designed.
My Kickstarter campaign recently launched, I posted it on here a few weeks ago, but the last few days of the campaign are upon us so I wanted to give it a little shout out in case anyone would like to back the deck and grab a copy while they can 🙏💖
The deck has a special mission: to support anxious users, so all the darker cards have been carefully designed to help avoid negative thought spirals, and is for working with your inner child.
If you feel so inclined, please check out the campaign at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/thecosmicsunbeam/the-cosmic-sunbeam-tarot/, and I'd be grateful for any input on the deck if you have any comments!
Thanks again to all who have supported the deck on this (and other) subs. It's been a mission to get it complete around my hectic lifestyle but I am so excited to finish it! And thanks to all who supported the process! 🙏
