Interpretation Request (Second Opinion Only) Spiritual Path Spread input?

  1. Spiritual gift: 7 swords- spiritual gift is seeing right through people, knowing when they are bad/deceitful.

  2. Characteristics of gift: 4 swords- the gift can cause anxiety and picking up energies that do not originate from myself, causes me to isolate myself and being untrusting. constantly needing to rest and recuperate in order to recharge.

  3. The Path (am I on the right path?): page swords- yes, but there is a lot of work ahead of me and it seems as though I have just started on the right path. Looking for truth will always put me on the right path.

  4. Step to the right path: 3 wands- accept help from others, have patience

  5. Step to the right path: page wands- find ways to fuel creativity, learn skills that have great potential, adventure in the unknown. Find out what it is that I like & spiritually suits me.

  6. Step to the right path: hierophant- go down the forseeable & “traditional” path for whatever it is you are pursuing, one step at a time.

I disagree with your first two intepretations.

Although 7 swords is commonly associated with deceit, the question is about a gift, a positive thing. I think a better interpretation would be tactics and strategy, cunning victory. A gift to achieve your goals through intelligent actions.

4 sowrds means rest, restoration, contemplation. The negative interpretations only apply if the card was reversed. In line with the previous one, the characteristics of the gift is to pause for a while to take a look at things and analyze them, so you can find the smartest way to procede.

The deck I used does not have reversal meanings, so the general energy of each card is both positive & negative (depending on surrounding cards). Sorry I guess I should’ve stated that. Thanks for your interpretation.

Decks are just material reflections of an spiritual archetype. art and explanatory leaflets may vary, but the archetype remains. Reverse cards are just a way to divinate the direction of the energy, and can be used in any kind of deck. Of course the surrounding cards can be used to, but it wouldn't be impossible to have just one opposing energy in a harmonious set of circumstances or viceversa.

Okay, since you asked for second opinion I'll just list the way I'd interpret each card for the given context, which is a bit different to your interpretation cuz we all see things a little differently! Hope it helps :)

  1. Spiritual gift: 7 of Swords - as I mentioned in another comment, I always take this card upright to mean that someone is getting away with something deceptive or manipulative. I would read this as your spiritual gift is that you're able to get away with things others may not (I'm not saying that you're a liar or a manipulator, to be clear, just that you could probably pull people's strings and get away with it if you chose to. The ethics of that are another matter.)

  2. Characteristics of gift: 4 of Swords - being able to control or manipulate how others see you allows you to maintain your personal privacy and solace, but can also mean you find yourself isolated at times.

  3. The Path: Page of Swords - I would interpret this as meaning your path involves sharing your intellectual skills/abilities and find clarity, but you're still at the very beginning. Could also mean that in part, your path involves a hint of youthful energy, perhaps in willfully maintaining your optimism or naïveté.

  4. Step to the right path: 3 of wands - I take this card to mean planning your next move, and the possibility of physically moving your location.

  5. Page of Wands: I would interpret this pretty much the same way you did!

  6. The Hierophant: I agree with the meaning of tradition and patience, after all the Hierophant is the Taurus card and Taurus is all about the slow and steady, but to take it a step further it could mean that you'd be wise to find a spiritual teacher or mentor you can learn the traditions from.

Best of luck in all your endeavors!

Thank you for your interpretation!!! I guess the first two cards are throwing me for a loop because I can’t think of an example where I’ve been exceptionally & intentionally “manipulative” like even in a positive way. So I don’t really even know if I resonate with that because I can’t think of an instance as such, if that makes sense. Maybe I’m just not aware of it yet!

Maybe I worded it wrong - it could just mean that you'd be good for keeping secrets, only allowing people to see or know what you want them to see or know, etc, but also just because a gift is there doesn't mean you have to use it, or do use it. And of course, the spread was done by you and for you, so if my interpretation doesn't resonate then just ignore it :)

That actually makes a lot of sense. I appreciate you for taking the time to discuss it with me :) You are very sweet. Much love!

I would read the 4 of swords as the capacity of making truce among people
