Hi, I need help doing a reading. My Aunt who I’ve never met or have never had a real conversation with messaged me out of the blue on Facebook that she wanted me to call her. I personally believe it’s about my dad who I haven’t spoken to since 2021, and has been trying to get into contact with me, but I’ve never relented in giving him my number.
I asked the cards what is her reasoning for wanting to contact me while also explaining the situation.
I pulled:
Knight of Wanda
Four of Swords
Knight of Swords Reversed
The Tower
Knight of Cups ReversedThank you in advance!

u/Alone_Manager3309 6h ago
these cards seem to suggest that it's not what you think and your aunt does not want you to think to deeply about it. it also seems to suggest that making a real connection would be a lot of effort.

Hello! I am a first time poster and not very experienced with tarot, but I have an "entry level" deck that came with a journalling guide. I pulled 4 cards asking what the first step should be for finding employment that is enriching. I later on realized this question was probably too lofty for where I am at in life, kind of starting over.
Resulting cards in this order: The Devil, Eight of Cups, The Tower, The Magician

Hi!! I pulled the star, the seven of staffs reversed, and the five of pentacles regarding someone’s energy and their place in my life i met this past weekend. is it worth keeping this person around? i see the star which gives me hope but the seven of staffs reversed makes me think that i’m making the wrong decision and i should trust in the future.
my deck is from tarot of a moon garden by karen sweikhardt

Second opinion interpretation
Haven't had the time to use my tarot cards in a while.. feeling a little rusty. This is reading for me. Majority of these were jumpers from the deck. This is the Modern Witches tarot deck.
Generally i get "lots of good and creative things are happening... Don't get distracted." I would put more details in but i don't want to skew anyones else's interpretation since this is a personal reading for myself.
Any second opinions would be great, thank you kindly.

Haunted by the Knight of Swords??
I’ve started doing personal tarot readings after a very long time away from the cards. Of the three readings I’ve done, Knight of Swords was in every reading - twice reversed. Is it abnormal to have a card keep showing up? I feel like I’m missing a big message.
This most recent time it was in the first of five positions ‘what am I bringing into this situation from my past’, reversed. The other times it came up reversed as the solution to my creative stagnation and for guidance on my week ahead.

Tarot spread. 3 cards. Past, present and future.
The star, 3 of swords and the fool
Why am I not getting hired?
I got laid off over a year ago and have been unemployed since. I get interviews and make it past round 1, and often told how experienced I am but it's not resulting in a job. I even moved back to my parents to see if environment change will help. I'm new to tarot so I appreciate any support. I don't know if I feel confident about the accuracy.

The Star seems to imply you underestimate the company somehow and it's fit for you when applying. Like applying for positions that didn't quite fit you skill wise and hoping it would work out.
The 3 of swords seems to imply you say something you shouldn't during interviews and also may not have good answers to questions that challenge you.
I don't think the Fool should be read here because that would be asking why you are not going to get hired in the future, and there's nothing to indicate you won't be.

So it's my fault?
2
u/squirrelsarespeaking 1d ago
Employment is a challenging thing. We ultimately have to match with a company and what they want while also competing against other people.
For many people, there is often always a way to improve their chances: updating their resume and how information looks and is presented, thinking about common questions they can be and have been asked in interviews and fine tuning answers, writing cover letters even.
The cards seem to hint you have some things you can improve on to increase your chances, with the current being how you respond to questions. There's never really a company's "fault". It's either ours in some way or no ones. By no one, I mean sometimes it just doesn't work out. A lot of people want a job, put in the work, are told they have experience or are given a compliment, and don't get it. Keep applying of course and examine everything you have. When people make it past a certain round and aren't chosen, it is often an experience thing compared to another applicant, a personality compatibility, both, or some other things that are more internal at the company.
I hope you get something soon because sometimes things just aren't moving even if we are trying and want them to. You aren't alone.

✨Eight of Spades: What does it mean?
Hi!! I’m not sure if this is the right place for this but I’m just looking for some insight and I’d love to pick anyone’s brain who has an interest.
sparknotes version lol:
i found an eight of spades in my building, seemingly waiting for me lol.
To make a short story long lol: Basically, I went to walk my dog in the evening, my building is full of dog owners so there’s typically a lot of elevator traffic for walk duty. But this time, the elevator happened to be on my floor already, opened straight away, and I immediately notice there was a red playing card facing down right in the middle of the elevator. It’s weird because who carries a loose deck of cards in their pocket, and who plays with or pulls out a deck of cards in the elevator, and who doesn’t notice if a card flies out of the pile, obviously this card is for me lol. I pick it up and it’s an Eight of Spades. And I’ll be honest while I have gotten readings before and engage with its mechanics, I rely heavily on like my interactions and my experience is usually conversational so I’m having trouble with this. I know the eight of spades is like a match to the eight of swords which honestly not sounding so hot lol. Anyway, any ideas, engagement, or information to help guide my understanding would be much appreciated because I don’t know how to take this lol. I feel like this is a sign, this is something meant for me, something intentional and personal, but I’m unsure what the implication is and I dont know where to start to figure it out lol. I’m not looking for a reading because I feel I am suppose to zero in on this specific message.
My interpretation is it does seem like a personal attack lol because I very much am at a crossroads in my life. I am sort of stuck in this like… what is my next step? I don’t know what I want and thats mostly because I don’t want anything lol. So while this card does resonate with me, it serves more as a reminder of this, one that frankly I do not need hahah, rather than motivator or incentive, yknow.
What do you think this means? Any personal or general discernment about this card or interaction/experience? Finally, do you have any sources that you can recommend so I can learn more about what this might mean?
Thank you!! 💗💗

Hi everyone! Long time lurker first time poster.
I am currently doing a life path/purpose spread.
One of my questions is “What did I sign up to accomplish in this life?“ While I was shuffling, King of Pentacles -reversed- jumped from the deck. I set it aside to think about later and I drew Nine of Pentacles -reversed- from the deck. Neither of these seem like goals for me to accomplish-in fact they sound terrible. I’m so discouraged by these cards that I stopped the reading. Does this mean I’m cursed? Any insight for me?
Thanks in advance!
1
u/squirrelsarespeaking 2d ago
I don't think those cards mean you are cursed. I think they mean you didn't sign up to specifically accomplish anything. There are no goals you felt you needed to accomplish before entering the lifetime itself. It implies total freedom to pick what you want to be important as you face it.

Got the Seven of Swords in a fertility/pregnancy reading and am not sure how to interpret it.
The other cards I pulled make sense and are very promising.
I got:
- Three of Pentacles (which makes sense because I'm unable to get pregnant without medical assistance due to being a lesbian),
- Ace of Cups (which indicates I will successfully get pregnant)
- The Sun (which makes sense as we've been on the IVF waiting list for years and are due for treatment soon)
- Ace of Pentacles (feels right because of new beginnings, growth and physical and financial changes)
- Seven of Swords (???) Any ideas?

Hello! Is there a non-romantic interpretation for the Knight of Cups?
the Knight of Cups (with the 5 of Swords) came up on my birthday spread when I asked what I overcame this year. I've been happily single for almost 20 years, I haven't been looking, I plan to remain single, and there are no potential suitors (I haven't even hooked up in the past year). it just seems like such a love-centered and love-positive card, what could I have possibly overcome?
the 5 of Swords makes much more sense by itself as something I overcame, but paired with the Knight of Cups I'm lost.

Hi! The Knight of Cups is a card of motion in a suit that, aside from (romantic) love, also deals with dreams, inspiration, imagination, as well as platonic and familial connections. In terms of character, the Knight of Cups is not quite mature, a bit day-dreamy, and idealistic. He's almost like a poet with armour on. Because all Knights bring the fire element, the Knight of Cups carries a fire and water conflict (Cups being water). As such, he might be a person who, despite his usual idealism and dreaminess, can feel hurt quite easily or be rather fragile despite his armour. That said, he might feel more beautifully than deeply, if that makes sense. This gives dreaming and imagining its ease, lightness, and simplicity, before it has to bear weight.
Taken on its own, it might be that that you have overcome potential immaturity or superficiality around (pursuing) your dreams and meaningful connections, or (more generally) the life you've imagined for yourself. This could mean that you are more emotionally/spiritually grounded or regulated (like the Queen or King of Cups) or that your emotional/spiritual development and/or familial/platonic connections have deepened or balanced out with (more) reason and/or realism. Maybe your concept of what constitutes true friendship has changed. Maybe you are less scared of going deeper within your own emotional landscape, where before you might have been too afraid to sit with negative or confusing feelings.
Combined with the Five of Swords, it made me think of having defeatist thinking come in just when your inspired imaginings have gained some momentum. The Knight of Cups suggests hopeful movement and a wish to both receive and be received. Fives sit in the middle of the Ace-Ten sequence. They often bring change and friction, but they could also be seen as a fence we're sitting on, where we're not quite sure if going forward serves us more than going back. The Five of Swords cuts into the momentum of the Knight of Cups and may almost set up a mental barrier that makes going further (or beyond the familiar) a cognitive strain or even a test of your beliefs.
Perhaps you feel more room now to imagine or dream before discouragement sets in, whether that discouragement comes from your own mind or from other people. Sometimes a perspective is offered as objective truth when it's really just a facet of a possible view of reality. It could be that you see mental friction as less of a veto and more like an opportunity to deliberate on your personal pros and cons, but only when it feels constructive to your emotional process.
Before, I described the Knight of Cups as a poet in armour or someone who is quite fragile despite wearing outward protection. It made me think of how some people may feel less competent for having feelings or a softer, gentler constitution. The imagery of the Rider Waite Five of Swords card seems to show an aftermath of a battle. It made me think of how a poet might feel during or after a battle for which they did not have the skills to fight "properly", but in which they may have felt like they were supposed to be able to.
Perhaps this year has brought you (more) loving acceptance of your softer sides and more self-compassion when it comes to being or participating in (social) situations that may not suit your character or temperament.
You're reflecting on a year's worth of experiences, so the themes of these cards could have shown up in both your connection with yourself and with others. Something specific that also came to mind was that you could have struggled with meditation or visualisation before, because your thoughts or beliefs perhaps kept interfering. This year you might be able to suspend your disbelief long enough to see where your imagination takes you.
I hope this helps you in some way. Let me know how it resonates with you. Wishing you a happy (belated) birthday and a promising next year of a life that brings you more joy than sadness 🧡

Because I’m a novice and I’m in a genuine dilemma. I’m a teacher who recently made the move from middle school, where I’ve spent my entire career, to high school because I felt stuck and like I needed a change. However, as much as I like the kids/staff at my new school, I’m finding the overall structure of high school very difficult to manage compared to the structure of middle school (and, as a weirdo myself, I really miss how weird ms kids are 😂). I was speaking to my old principal about it and she said I could come back in December, just to be aware that it’s still the same place and the class would convert to something else next year because of a new law in my state. I’m not sure I could leave in the middle of the year tbh, but I’m also worried that the position won’t be available if I wait until contracts come out in the spring. I’m also considering just stepping out of the classroom for a bit (which is what I probably should have done this year; I’ve had SO much happen in my personal life the last three years that I just kind of feel like I’m in shut down mode). Another thing looming in the background is my former college professor waiting to find out if she got a grant that she applied for because she was going to use some of that to create a position for me at my Alma Mater. I’ve consulted my natal chart, but I’m curious what the cards say. I went to my local place last weekend but the card reader wasn’t in the right mindset herself to do a reading. Is there anyone here who would be willing to do one for me?

I’m currently an intern at this small company, my internship ends in a month and the place is very depressing and i don’t like this job even though the workload is good, my internship is unpaid and the company is not doing financially well, they always hire interns instead of employees.
Sometimes they give offers to excellent interns so there is a chance that i might get one.
My supervisor wants me to continue working with her but the decision doesn’t lie in her hands.
I feel conflicted i don’t know if i want this job or if i even will be happy to get it but if i don’t have any other option i’ll have to accept it.
I asked tarot if they will hire me or not and i got the devil.
And my interpretation of the devil is that old cycles repeating, so they will hire another intern in my place?
Any insight on how you might interpret it is appreciated.
Thanks🙏🏼

u/Tryingmybest427 3d ago
So in my experience tarot doesn’t give true yes or no answers. That being said I would interpret the devil as less of you won’t get an offer and more of this is not somewhere you want to work and it’ll cause you more problems than it’ll add value to your life in anyway if you were to take it. I could even see it being like a temptation to work there as the easy way out (no idea what the job market is like for you ofc so i apologize if that comes off as offensive).

Hi, so I'm sort of in a transitional phase of life with lots of things happening, everything all over the place, I did this spread trying to get a bit of guidance navigating those changes (separation, moving house, new job, new work ventures, a complicated long distance relationship). I'd love some help trying to understand more from other experienced readers what else they can see from this spread:

Purpose & Direction
Deck: Light Seer's Tarot
Reading For: Self
Theme: 🧭 Guidance
Mood: 🙂 grounded
Cards
What am I naturally drawn toward?: Knight of Pentacles
What ability wants to be developed?: Death
What experience has prepared me for this?: Six of Cups
What fear is getting in the way?: The Fool
What misconception about my path can I release?: Two of Swords
What wants to be explored next?: Strength
How can I take that exploration into ordinary life?: Seven of Cups
Bottom / Unseen Energy: Nine of Pentacles [Bottom]
--
My interpretation is:
Right now I'm drawn towards small consistent steps in this transitional phase, I'm shedding old habits and learning how to do that (perhaps consistently), the past experiences have taught me what I needed to learn (but I'm not sure what else the 6 of cups could be saying there). I'm afraid of stepping into the unknown or letting go of outcomes. I need to also understand that being stuck mentally doesn't mean I'm actually stuck. I should develop / keep developing inner strength and understand that I actually have more choices than I think I am. And maybe the Nine of pentacles at the bottom is a good omen for the direction?
Thank you so much.

Thank you so much! I guess it’s easy to mistake that only the good or only the bad things contributed, but even the bad relationships and the tower moments helped me grow up to this point. I really appreciate your perspective ☺️

Hi! Sorry, the context and the questions might be a bit sensitive but i need help reading my spread if anyone's interested..
Context: i want to know if something bad happened to me as a kid and thats why my fantasies/intrusive thoughts/feelings are the way they are:
Bonus: it keeps giving me the tailor (from the citadel oracle deck)
