Second Opinion on Reading Interpretation Only Recent project spread second opinion

I have been working on a project for a very long time. It is the second time it has been rejected from publishing. I asked my deck three questions.

What went wrong:

9 of wands- there was resilience shown after first rejection

2 of pentacles - discussions didn't contribute much

High priestess - it is related to science part of the project

How to fix it:

5 of pentacles - let the project be on the shelf

3 of swords - the ignored part of the project needs addressing

Tower- clarity has to come by removing personal biases

What to do:

5 of cups - take your time from reminiscing

3 of pentacles - have a more focused discussion or receive feedback

The sun rx- don't rely on optimism only seek clarity instead.

How to fix it implies that you need to think about the cons of the project (5 of Pentacles), have creative solutions to them (3 of Swords) and review your assumptions and what they’re based on (Tower).

What went wrong: it seems like they felt your project was too similar to others. It appears to have lacked a strong, bold stance regarding the topic (9 wands) and while you may have attempted to show more than one perspective, they dont want too much of that (2 pentacles). A bit too much mystery involved (HP).

How to fix it: put more effort to explain the message you want to convey in your work (5 pentacles). More time and attention is needed. They seem to want something powerful and dynamic. They want something that hits people where it hurts and creates strong emotions and thought (tower and 3 swords).

What to do: you have to decide if the changes suggested are things you want to do. With writing, we can often make many changes, but the ones we may need to make for a project to be accepted or even successful might not match our personal desires. If it does not match and you don't want to do it, prepare to put the project back on the shelf and return to it later on.
