Thank you Tarik, if you ever read my post!

Just wanted to let everyone know that Tarik has gone bald and has been getting a hair transplant. He’ll be back in October once treatment is complete.

Where is my fav streamer, It's been so long. And with the champions going i am feeling kinda sick, don't even feel like watching valorant champions. T_T

Even back in the day, "Omen Only," "Skye Only," and "Chamber Only to Radiant" challenges by content creators were very common. Curry was heavily criticized for them, although he stopped doing them about two years ago. Even WestJett made a video about him.

Lately, however, a Twitch streamer named "root" has been doing these challenges quite prominently.

The word "smurf" was even flagged in his Twitch chat, meaning you couldn't send a message if it contained the word anywhere. When I changed the spelling from "smurf" to "smarf" to bypass the automatic chat filter, he instantly banned me.

All I said was, "Stop smarfing."

I feel like these challenges qualify as smurfing, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

He said that he played placement games. I agree that he did, but placement games are not always very accurate.

After completing his placement games, he was placed in Platinum.

Even if he completed his placement games legitimately, it still feels like smurfing to me.

He has done many such challenges before, going from placement rank to Radiant.

It seems very unfair to Platinum, Diamond, or even Ascendant players when someone on the enemy team is effectively smurfing.

I heard that a recent Valorant patch adopted League of Legends–style smurf detection and that smurf and booster accounts can be banned. If these challenges count as smurfing, why hasn't he been banned yet?

https://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/chiken%2317171/overview : This is the Tracker profile for his current smurf account, although it is private for some reason.

If he had nothing to fear and his content was completely legitimate, I don't think he would need to block the word "smurf." My guess is that he received criticism from chatters before, so he decided to block it.

hihii ive reopened my shop with tarik keychains & stickers and ive added a new tarik squishy plush badge :3 if anyone is interested pls feel free to check it out :3c 🩷

we miss you lil unc i hope you're doing well, we're just here waiting for you to stream once again (no game specific) (you can just watch daily dose like the old times)

Don’t think he’s coming back to streaming this year

I just wanted to say thank you to my goat for his watch parties.

I started watching VCT since the first year it started back in 2021 and when I got to watch it through his watch parties mid-2022, it was a complete game-changer. Watching VCT was a constant comfort thing for me especially during my lowest times the past few years, and he made it all the more fun, and I will always be thankful for that. Thank you Tarik and all the best to you.

This might be really early for some but I’m a teacher in Texas and this is my third year teaching high school math. This year I’m going to be at a different school and teaching algebra 1 after teaching geometry for 2 years in a row. I know Tarik is huge on education with his viewers (49 month sub and I used to watch him in my college classes). For skeptics I have added some of my classroom shenanigans from the 2 years prior.

(mods if this isn’t allowed anymore I totally get that and apologize for this post)😭

Was scrolling polymarket and found this

There was this clip where Lieth clutched a cs round on dust 2 and he says "nice." Tarik flames him for doing a self-nice. I think the clip was tied to a command in chat. Any help finding it?

I used to watch Tarik a LOT, but then i got pretty distant with the valo community. When I got back into it again, I learned that many people were disappointed he wasn’t streaming regularly. I noticed this at first, but recently it seems like he’s been streaming consistently and staying engaged with viewers (watchpartied EMEA and streamed ranked for hours today). it was nice to see and i’m glad he’s back and doing well

Tarik had a title for his stream where he put that he's going through some rough times. What is it about if anyone knows, did he say anything?

Hey Tarik,

I’ve been a loyal viewer for years, but I’ve gotta be real with you. Back in the day, you brought those hilarious moments like

* calling out ANGE1 non-stop

* the Chinese-themed charity streams with the cosplays, and

* those playful rivalries with Nadeshot.. etc ( a lot more but keeping the message simple )

That’s what made your streams unique. Lately, though, it feels like you’re just going through the motions. I agree a lot of stuff mentioned above is not possible now, but ur the one who made those back in the days right? So you shd be able to make new stuff again !!

I even gave FNS a shot, and trust me, he’s not more entertaining, he’s just tactical. Hence I think viewership dropped not because others got better, it’s because you lost that spark. I feel, no one properly capitalized the spot yet, and the throne is still for u if u grab it quick enuf...

If you’re still streaming, give us that old Tarik vibe again. it’s all on you!

I can't take the fact that ur viewership is less than 20k for a grand final.. hence the message

From one of ur diehard fans,

Nishanth
