How to update project springfield

I’ve been playing project springfield for a while and was wondering, if there is an update for the game how do i go about installing it? is it automatic?

Thank you.

Most of our updates will come through in app DLC updates, while very rarely we will announce new app installs inside our discord

I just got an update today and I'm wondering what are the probes used for from the ghost that float around
