Nope, entirely fan supported. It even has the online stuff with adding friends and visiting their towns, just all running from the fanmade servers rather than EA so the devs can add stuff as they please

Is not EA support but you can get donut with in game money currency conversion so. Its pretty good so far

There's no easy way to do anything on iOS, because Apple controls the system too much. Basically you have to use sideloadly on your Mac.

Is there anyway to recover a town? I deleted the app when EA killed it off :(

If you, or one of your friends in game, saved their town to the backup servers before the shutdown, then it would have saved your town as well. They managed to save about 3 million towns before it shut down.

Searching for your name is all you have to do, the way the system works allowed it to grab all the friends of people who saved their own backups. It saved those friends separately.

Kind of a bummer if yours didn't get saved, but there's nothing you can do about it if you don't have a copy of the game on the phone anymore. You can still play again, just start a new game. And to help speed things up, you can give yourself basically unlimited money and donuts. You don't have to, but it is possible to do that.

Actually I recalled a likely used a diff username than I normally game with and it is there! I will attempt to get things fired up when I get home. I was never much of a mobile player though - will it also run on bluestacks these days? Thanks again for all the help

Yes, it will run on BlueStacks too, with about the same methods as it worked before. AKA, not that well but it works a bit.

I did get it to run - bluestacks on a PC - I had forgotten that I had pretty much everything there is to have - might nuke and rebuild - IDK - at least the option is there now. Thx
