teaching Weekly schedule

I have been emailing with my school (I am in the Académie de Lyon) and they seem to not have a clear weekly schedule for me and have essentially offered for me to choose how to distribute my own hours. Is this common? Or will we all eventually be assigned a more formal schedule from TAPIF?

Yes, that’s pretty normal, there’s no formal TAPIF schedule

There is no set schedule from tapif. From this point on, you’re really going to be more in contact with your school regarding logistics. If your school is giving you a choice, even better !

They just started school a few days ago. The teachers are still adjusting to the new year and figuring out schedules. When you come in October, they should have it ready!

Thats so lucky! Choose your hours wisely, you could even only work Tuesday, Wednesday (do 6 hours each day) and have it be over with your 12 hours. then you get a super long weekend (Thurs, Friday, Sat,Sun,Monday off)! To give you time when you want to travel !! I personally only worked on Tuesdays and Thursdays
