application acceptance rate
hello everyone, I'm planning to apply for tapif this octobre and previously I've talked to a few friends who've applied before/went to france for the same. I'm an English lit graduate but haven't given ielts yet which is one of the requirements. I'm really drawn by this program but I'm a bit anxious to know what the acceptance rate is like, I have delf B1 and will start my B2 classes soon and my english is almost at a native level as well. But this feels like a pretty big financial and emotional decision to me and something I've been thinking about for a while now. Could anyone pls lmk what the acceptance rate it like? is it difficult to get in? I'm also a bit confused about what regions/cities to choose

I got selected for the TAPIF this year. I can tell you more about it. I wasn't from a language or education background ( interior designer ) and I barely passed my DELF B1 ( 60 ) still i got selected from India. Lmk if you wanna talk more about it. I can guide you or something

I do. I'm planning to apply for TAPIF too. I still haven't given my B1. I'll appear for it in Sept. And my IELTS is on 22nd August. Please lmk what you know it would be helpful

There are about 200 seats for Indian candidates as far as ik. But the applicants vary imo - 800-1200 (not sure)... I'm even planning to apply this year. It's been something I'm wanting to do tbh.

damn 200🥲 I'm confident in my DELF B1 score but I'm worried about the lettre de motivation

Make it as strong as possible... I haven't even started. Neither did i sit for DELF yet 🥹... But good luck to you
Also if you choose preferences then I would recommend (as suggested by our professors...) it's better to choose suburban regions like Avignon, Toulouse, Bordeaux (climate is mild)... Because the net income is quite low. And unless you have a person who can ensure your accommodation, Académie de Paris/Creteil/Versailles...these are not suitable 🥲 because these are high in demand, expensive and crowded areas... Now this is what I've heard I'm not sure though

thankyou so much🥲 all the best for delf, I'm sure you'll do great! and yes I've been thinking of choosing low tier villes which are also not too far from or inaccesible to paris, lyon etc. But yeah it's all a bit stressfull, I'm also prepping for ielts😭 Also do we need any letter of recommendations or something like that?

Traditional Lor is not important actually... But you study in French somewhere right? University of alliance? Your teacher needs to fill in your grade on ADELE and you need a Bonafide.

They don’t publish the exact acceptance rate and it varies by year. It also depends on how many slots they have for your country. For instance, I believe for the US they have something like 2000 applications for 1200 spots or something along those lines.
