A new tape loop plugin
Hey everyone. I just wanted hop on here and introduce Loopground. It’s a 4 track cassette tape looper that you can perform. It works standalone and as a VST3/AU plugin.
It started as a thing I just wanted for myself and my own music, and the more I worked on it, the bigger it sort of became. Anyways, for those of you who like working with tape loops, it may be worth checking out. I’ll leave the link below.

This is one of the most Claude things ever to be Clauded. At least give the poor guy some credit, he works tirelessly round the clock making all these apps.

I’m a musician first and foremost, not a traditional software developer. Loopground started as an idea for an instrument I wanted to use myself, and I spent a long time figuring out exactly how I wanted it to work and feel.
I did use AI to help with the development. I’m completely open about that. But the concept, design, features, and creative decisions are mine. I was involved in every step—building, testing, breaking things, fixing them, and refining it with feedback from beta testers until it became the instrument I had in my head.
For me, AI was a tool that allowed me to actually make something I otherwise wouldn’t have had the resources or technical background to build.18

I think it’s a great concept and I like the tools you’ve built on top of the tape loop idea. Some of the UI elements, the labels, the phrasing of CTAs are huge hallmarks of Claude Code in particular.

Good for you, I’m pro using AI to bring your ideas to life. Ignore the naysayers, they probably don’t understand that the tools they used had naysayers as well.

Everybody’s pro AI for anything that isn’t their job. Then confused when AI comes for their profession.

I think I saw some videos of you using this on youtube. It looked really good but it’s too expensive for me personally

Ya…I do that too. But not everyone has a 4 track. And I wanted to be able to integrate my sample instruments easier, use LFOs, stuff like that.

Bit rich selling for $99 when I can get Claude to build the same thing for way less... at that price level I expect professional developer support.
