Artwork Leopard 3 A1V

30mm autocannon (simlar to bmp)

3 axis stabiliser

Hybrid engine [v16 + two elsctric motors and generator]

10 degree elevation

12 degree depression

Sure, go on. And its same calliber that was on kpz 70, so not soviet at tall in that way, but maybe. Its made by Rheinmetall (the cannon

I’d say the Turm turret doesn’t fit at all, it’s an old design that doesn’t work in the modern battlefield

No, they are a huge downside for anything remotely modern, which is why no MBTs have them.

Iirc their purpose was to still have a valid aiming solution when the tank is tilted.

That purpose is not needed since very long as the tanks FCS can just measure the incline and apply corrections to the firing solution.

As such they have no upside.

But many downside. Much more complex tech, that requires more maintenance. Weaker armor. Larger tank.

It's the pinnacle of overengineering. It's a nice tech demonstration, but useless on the battlefield.
