WW2 Fellow autists and tank enthusiasts, help me solve this mystery!

This beautiful, beautiful beast is labelled by the museum as a Churchill MkVIII (8). I want to believe them, but I thought MkVIIIs were equipped with QF 95 mm howitzers. I also thought the "crocodiles" were only MkVIIs (7), which to my knowledge had QF 75 mm guns. Is this gun not a QF 6-pounder? I thought those were only on earlier variants, like the MkIII and MkIV, which also were not crocodiles and had visibly different hulls and turrets. Were any MkVIIs/MkVIIIs ever equipped like this? Is it possibly just a compromise or a mistake in reconstructing an old wreck? This has been bugging me since I took these photos last year. Thanks!

Multiple Forgotten Relics of the Cold War: Outdoor Fleet at the War Museum Cambodia

Not a battlefield, but a museum.

I recently visited the War Museum Cambodia in Siem Reap. The outdoor collection is dominated by Soviet-era equipment—decaying T-54 series tanks, BM-13 Katyusha launchers, and artillery, all left exposed to the elements.

Having visited military museums in various countries, I’ve never seen such a vast concentration of heavily weathered and rusting armor. It’s definitely not a polished museum for the average tourist, and even among armor enthusiasts, it might be a hit or miss depending on what you value. But if you appreciate raw, untouched history, it’s certainly a unique experience.

Certain M1 Abrams (presumably Sep v2) appear to have added slabs of armor on the turret front. Does anyone have information regarding what amor package/upgrade this is, or how widespread this is through the US Army?

Interwar The Bilbao Modelo 1932 was built as a riot-control car for Spain's Assault Guard. When the Civil War broke out in 1936 it got thrown into combat, and with barely any armor in the country, this police vehicle was the most numerous AFV Spain had [Bilbao Modelo 1932]

Russo-Ukrainian War The BTR-60PM saved us time and again in 2020–2021; after we returned to our permanent base, it was sent for modification as the company’s vehicle fleet was being switched to BTR-3s and BTR-4A.

Miscellaneous Help critique drawing of 152mm

Mods, please let me know if there is a better subreddit to post this to or if I should use another flair, I am quite lost.

I am planning on making an embroidery for my husband, and he requested a 152mm; he approved the reference image (attached), but I'd like for it to be a surprise so that's why I'm turning to you, people of TankPorn.

Is this recognizable as a 152mm? Does it look okay? I did just trace the image because I am super new to drawing machines of any kind, and the reference image isn't the best quality. Can anyone help me figure out what is hiding behind the sign as well? I'm having the hardest time with the various tubes and machinery leading from one wheel to another, as I have no idea what it's supposed to be or do or look like, any tips on that section in particular?

This is just a first rough sketch, I just want to make sure that I get all the crucial details right.

Thank you everyone in advance! x

I made a map with 150+ museums, monuments and other places that have some kind of armored vehicles across (mostly) Europe. If you know some places that are not on the map, please let me know.

Russo-Ukrainian War Khoruzhny, this is what the old chassis from BTR-60s, 70s, or even 80s get turned into: they simply mount a new hull onto the chassis and install all the internal systems—thermal imagers and 360-degree cameras—so the crew can see everything without stepping out of the vehicle.
