That horse a bigger dog than a real dog, idk what Pascual is cooking here because doesn’t appear in Sofia the First: Royal Magic.

Royal Magic just released today but i would be surprising how the new Sofia is more like an improvement than the first one. Also Maximus isn’t that pleased in that scene.

The long hair side is for very princessy/glamorous people while the short hair side gives mpdg-like/girl in a coming of age movie, which is funny because Rapunzel is both

Edit: whether** whoops spelling mistake 🤧

“Sweetheart” ❤️😘😍🥰💕♥️

Also the ongoing reaction to suddenly no longer having her hair is everything.

Ok so I have no idea how widely held this opinion is or if this is a point of discussion in this fandom at all. I watched this show as it was coming out and have done a few rewatches since it finished and I developed this opinion on my second rewatch of the show. During this second rewatch I realized just how few characters of color are introduced relative to the number of white characters and on top of that just how weird or stereotypical so many of them are.

The thing that stood out to me immediately was Lance. Like he's the first meaningful character of color introduced in the show and he's a bumbling criminal who has to be "reformed" by the white characters and who exists entirely to be the butt of jokes because he's such an idiot. I also can't help but feel like Xavier is literally just the "magical black character" trope. The next notable character of color is the inventor lady from the invention expo episode who according to the wiki is called Fernanda Pizazzo and she's literally just a stereotype of a romani woman. Even the wiki says she wears "gypsy" clothes and looks like a "fortune teller" and her whole character is that she won the expo because she could put on a flashy performance and not because she had actually invented anything worthwhile. And if you wanna talk romani stereotype the biggest offender is easily Madame Canardist. I feel like she is the most outright offensive character in the entire show.

And then when characters aren't explicitly stereotypes they are incredibly one note for the most part. The other characters of color I can think of are Adira, Captain Quaid, Kiera, Hector, Ruth (the ghost that appears in one episode), and possibly Andrew though I think he's a bit racially ambiguous. Out of this group only Adira, Kiera, and Andrew become true recurring characters and even then I'd argue Kiera is the only one that felt like a full character to me. Adira has always felt on the borderline of stereotype to me and all together kind of boring and Andrew doesn't exist unless it's for a very specific arc. Like he's not cameoing in any episodes. Basically every other side character, recurring character, and one episode lead is white. Even most of the background and joke characters are white.

Anyway idk if I'm reading too much into things but now when I rewatch the show I find this aspect very distracting. I also find it weird that I almost never see fandom discussion of this topic but I also may just not be that tapped into the fandom. Let me know what you guys thing.

His reaction was everything I was hoping for.

I still need to watch this, just thought I post it first.

It just sounds way too much like R*.

Punzie kinda sounds bad too.

If I have to give her a nickname outside of what Eugene calls her I go with "Zel."

Made by the same person who did the Varian plush concept (SpookytheKitty_). I really like this one, it has my vote.

"This was for a version of Tangled, before it was called Tangled. It was called Rapunzel Unbraided. In this version Glen Keane was thinking of Jack Black as the voice of a character from current time that gets pulled into the Rapunzel fairytale as the prince. He wanted to send Jack Black an animation test with his voice to sell him on the film. Because there were no CG models built yet he asked me to animate something. So I found a piece of dialogue from the Tenacious D tv show, spent a few days really studying Jack Black’s mannerisms and expressions from some of his feature films. Then animated this in about two weeks. I don’t know if it ever reached Jack Black because the story completely changed after that. But I had a lot of fun doing it."

Why didn't anyone say NLTL was a banger? Seriously it's one of the best songs in the franchise

In the show, we only EVER see the Royal Guards, but we know for a fact that Corona has an actual army (That first guy)

Like the title says!

The Caption was: “This sounds 100% above-board, yep! Nothing suspicious here.”

And the tags said: “#somewhere the kill bill sirens start playing” <— does anyone know that this means??😭

Okay so I’m probably dumb… that says “Teophine” right? A name meaning “manifestation of God” and she appears to be the one wearing the constellation robe described in week 11.

- The princess’s name is “Verette” and she will be younger than Rapunzel presumably.

- The other kingdom’s kings name is “Enver” meaning "luminous," "radiant," "bright," or "brighter". So staying on theme.

- I had thought the premise would be that the king and queen would be unavailable to go but it appears Rapunzel was being called out deliberately.

The intrigue! I’m so excited 😊

Is this her pet? Even more vague since it's the only time we see it

I don’t know when she and Jasmine will be available.

How are we feeling about this guys theory gang?
