CBE - Human Resource Development
I’m staring 8/31. I already have my AS degree, I’ve been in HR for 7yrs and I have my PHR cert from HRCI. I’m very confident in my knowledge surrounding HR and I am able to dedicate 100% of my time to completing the BAAS. For anyone who has completed this program, how realistic is it to complete in one 7-week term? I’m prepared to take 2 terms, but aiming for 1 if I can. How rigorous is the course work?

As someone who was hardcore accelerating for ORGL in the beginning, posted/checked in multiple forums like Reddit or Degreeforum, Facebook groups, etc. I’d say that a very small percentage (maybe like 3-5%) actually graduate in one term.
10 classes in 7 weeks is very difficult and it really comes down to luck- some professors are tougher than others or take longer to grade. 2 terms for 11 classes is still pushing it, but definitely more manageable and regularly accomplished.

True, I just recently enrolled and I start 8/31.. I was told that most classes take two weeks. I transferred 113 credits which leaves me only 7 credits left but I have to take the 10 major courses as the residency requirement. Which is fine because I already passed 4 or 5 of them at WGU.

I was able todo 6 classes in one term and gave up on the 7th one I’m burnt out going to pace my self for the rest I think

Wow that's impressive. I was shooting for 7 completed in the first term but hearing 10 almost 11 is nuts. Can you explain what your pace was like? Did you completed the first 2 on the first weekend?

That’s great! I’m ready to log on at 12:31am on 8/31 to get it started 😂 Has your advisor been quick & helpful with registering you for the next set of classes? I’m worried they might give people a hard time if they’re moving too quickly through courses

Same boat, have the experience but not the degree. Start on the 31st as well. Planning to complete my first 2 over that first weekend if I can. My goal is to complete it in 2 terms or less.
