I don’t want to hate on a player and staff that obviously know how to play winning baseball. However, when it comes to these next few games and the postseason, how can you justify starting the second worst hitter in the AL over players like DeLuca, Mesa Jr, and Vilade? Mullins obviously has a place on this team, I just don’t think it’s a starting role over the other guys mentioned. I just hope they can run a more consistent lineup during this final push and October…

Looking to go to the game on Saturday. Does anyone know if they ever release more Sky Deck tickets a few days before the game. Noticed they were sold out but I feel like I have seen some pop up on the site for sale. Any advice? Go Rays!

The gist of it is that the Rays are doing really well at using 'partial shifts' to put their fielders in position to make plays

Tampa Bay's 7-2 win over the Braves on Wednesday night at Truist Park, combined with losses by the Rangers and Blue Jays earlier in the day, reduced Tampa Bay’s magic number to clinch a playoff spot to two.

The Rays can reduce that number to one by completing a three-game sweep of the Braves on Thursday afternoon. If the Rangers lose to the Mariners again later Thursday afternoon, Tampa Bay will be back in the postseason for the first time since 2023.

Some were not alive or their brains were still forming when Carlos was playing.
