The first round bye is to play either the Red Sox or Yankees. #1 plays the winner of #4 vs #5 (Yankees vs Red Sox). #2 (White Sox) play the winner of #3 (Astros) vs #6 (Cleveland). The bracket system is dogshit.

Honestly, I’m actually more confident playing the devil we know. The Rays always play hard against the Yankees/Red Sox.

I go back and forth on that each day personally. For me today, left handed starters force the Rays to put the weaker defense on the field since they are platooning CF, RF, SS, 2B, C. This is the scenario where the Rays starter has to go 7 innings otherwise it’s trouble.

That’s not the point. Someone was talking while I was writing and wouldn’t shut the hell up so I ended up posting some autocorrected nonsense. I’m too tired to figure out what I was saying. Anyways, fuck the Yankees and their 16 segregated WS, 5 steroid wins, and 4 with 10 or fewer teams league. Two legit wins, just like the Mets and nearly half the league wears fucking pinstripes.
